Miley Cyrus Defends Justin Bieber, Calls Paparazzi ‘Dangerous’
If you ever want to know how Miley Cyrus feels about anything, all you need to do is turn to her Twitter feed. For example: How does Miley Cyrus feel about the paparazzo that was killed in pursuit of pictures of Justin Bieber? According to her Twitter, she thinks paps are “dangerous” and that an accident like this was “bound to happen.”
TMZ reported last night that a paparazzo trying to snap pictures of Justin Bieber’s Ferrari was killed by oncoming traffic when he attempted to cross the street. Bieber, who wasn’t even in the car at the time, offered a statement regarding the unfortunate accident:
“While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”
We’re not sure if Bieber’s been criticized personally for the pap’s death, but Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to defend him anyway, writing “It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin’s conscious as well! This was bound to happen!”
The “Party in the USA” singer continued:
“The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices… Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di enough of a wakeup call?!”
