Scarlett Johansson: Marriage, Kids Are ‘Not Important To Me’
The 28-year-old starlet, Scarlett Johansson, shares she is in no particular rush to head down the aisle, if ever, again. She clarifies in a recent interview in the upcoming February 2013 issue of Elle UK, which she dons the cover of, that she’s not having kids any time soon either, that the idea is “not important to me.”
Per EOnline News, Scarlet recalls:
“I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It’s hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married. I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me. ‘Would I get married again?’ It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I’m not having kids any time soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”
She adds, “I feel like I’ve been transitioning from young woman into womanhood for a very long time. Now as I approach 30, with the last few years behind me, I feel like growing pains are behind me.”
Ryan Reynolds‘ ex-wife feels fulfilled regardless. She’s in a good place in her career and in a relationship with a hot French beau, journalist Romain Dauriac. She’s appeared as Maggie, in the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Hitchcock, and earlier this year in the action blockbuster The Avengers.
Recently Scarlett’s, along with several other high profile celebrities’, personal accounts were hacked by a Jackson, Florida man, who thereafter leaked intimate photos. Christopher Chaney was given 10 years for his reprehensible, disrespectable deeds of violating their privacy.
