Melania Trump likes Alec Baldwin’s impression of Donald Trump, according to the actor himself. He shared this bit of news in an interview he gave to WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show on Monday morning. The first lady allegedly thinks Baldwin’s impersonation of her husband on Saturday Night Live is on point.
The Hill recaps Alec Baldwin’s interview and his claims that Melania Trump secretly thinks his impression of President Donald Trump is uncanny to how he is in real life. The president has openly skewered SNL and late-night sketches of his leadership and others in his administration. He’s come down on the TV show by insulting the talent and ranting that Baldwin’s impression “just can’t get any worse.” He’s also deemed the skits “unwatchable” and “not funny.” Clearly, the audience feels otherwise, and Baldwin is still killing it with his late-night parodies of Donald Trump. Perhaps what’s shocking is hearing that Melania Trump finds humor in Alec Baldwin’s act. Without knowing much about her taste in comedy, anything is possible.
According to Baldwin, Melania “told this person, very high up in the White House brass there, that, ‘That’s exactly what he’s like.’”
Would Melania have actually said that even if she truly feels that way? Baldwin went on his interview to allege that the president is horrified his wife finds the SNL sketches funny.
“Apparently, Trump is horrified and beside himself that his wife actually thinks it’s funny,” Baldwin said.

Alec Baldwin is promoting his new book, You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of my Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump. (A So-Called Parody) . He co-authored the memoir with Kurt Anderson.
According to The Hill , a spokeswoman for Melania Trump hasn’t returned a request for comment. She’s currently touring with her husband in Japan.
The president and his wife have avoided the negative rumors on this overseas trip where it concerns their physical affection. On the previous tour abroad, the couple were in the news for their hand-holding issues. When the two landed in Israel, Trump reached for his wife’s hand, but she brushed it away, spawning speculations that the first lady is miserable in her role and is unhappy in her marriage. Body language experts weighed in on what every move between the couple meant. The Trumps have learned from their actions and aren’t giving the press anything to run with this time regarding the state of their marriage.
However, many can’t help but wonder how the first lady really feels. Does she really think Alec Baldwin’s impression of Donald Trump on SNL is funny?
