‘Teen Mom OG’: Matt Baier Speaks Out In Defense Of Farrah Abraham

Teen Mom OG star Matt Baier is speaking out about Farrah Abraham allegedly being fired. Baier, who is the ex-fiancé of Amber Portwood, is one of the first cast members to publicly speak out about how MTV is handling their situation with Abraham.

According to a Nov. 6 report by Radar Online, Matt Baier is now speaking out in support of Farrah Abraham after she claims the network tried to fire her from Teen Mom OG due to her involvement in the adult entertainment industry. Farrah first revealed that she had been fired via social media, and days later claimed that she was informed that she hadn’t been fired nor breached her contract. However, Farrah’s status with the show is still up in the air.

Matt Baier, 46, gave his thoughts on the situation, claiming that even though he and Farrah Abraham have had their “differences” in the past, he believes that MTV trying to push her off of the show is wrong. Baier went on to reveal that whatever Abraham chooses to do to support her daughter is her own business.

Baier also revealed that MTV only likes when the Teen Mom cast members do something dramatic or controversial when the cameras are rolling. Matt says that the network tries to “keep the crazy in the house,” and that they are “total hypocrites.”

Meanwhile, although Matt Baier and Amber Portwood are no longer together, he will be seen in the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG. Matt and Amber called it quits earlier this year after a seemingly never-ending line of drama in their relationship. The two did head to Marriage Boot Camp to try and work on their relationship but while they were there, Portwood met a member of the crew, Andrew Glennon, and the two are currently dating.

In fact, Amber and Andrew are expecting their first child together as Amber recently announced that she was pregnant again. The Teen Mom OG star is already the mother of daughter Leah, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, and will welcome a new little bundle of joy in 2018. Matt Baier says he’s happy for his ex and wishes her the best.
