Carrie Underwood Shares The Sweetest Photo Of 2-Year-Old Son Hugging Her Poster
Carrie Underwood shared the sweetest photo of her adorable 2-year-old son Isaiah getting just a little bit confused when it came to giving his mom a big hug during a trip to the store. The star, who’s gearing up to co-host the 51st Annual CMA Awards on November 8, shared the photo with her fans on social media which showed the youngster wrapping his arms around a poster of his mom.
Underwood posted the adorable snap to Instagram, explaining that Isaiah spotted the photo display during a visit to a Dick’s Sporting Goods store with his dad, former Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher, which is where Carrie exclusively sells her popular Calia by Carrie Underwood athleisure range.
As soon as little Isaiah saw the poster of his mom, Carrie revealed that he sweetly walked up and embraced the poster.
“The boys went to @dickssportinggoods and Isaiah just had to give Mama a hug!” Underwood captioned the seriously cute photo of her little man, telling her followers that her husband Mike snapped the sweet moment after a trip out with their son.
The (almost) family photo inspired a flurry of comments from Carrie’s fans on the social media site, who responded by gushing over the “Church Bells” singer’s sweet little man after he wrapped his arms around the 2D version of his mom on display in the sporting store.

“Omgoodness… this photo is too sweet. He’s such a cutie!” Instagram user @ohglennon commented on Carrie’s upload, while @jeninnash wrote that seeing Isaiah give out a hug to the display was “the most precious thing!”
“Nothing more awesome than a boy’s love for his momma,” @cricketlou1969 then added in response to the adorable moment Underwood shared with her more than 6.5 million followers.
And it sounds like Carrie and Mike’s son is already growing up fast.
Fisher shared a sweet story with his Twitter followers on November 5, telling his followers that their son picked out an impressive bedtime story while he and Underwood were tucking him in bed that night.
Mike tweeted that he asked their 2-year-old what story he’d like to be read before bed and revealed that his son’s adorable response was, “‘I wanna read the Bible. Jesus loves me.'”
Fisher – who jokingly trapped his wife in a net for Halloween last week – then commented that Isaiah’s request had “made our day!”
But when she’s not putting her bundle of joy to bed with a bible story, Carrie’s gearing up for her 10th consecutive year co-hosting the CMA awards with fellow country superstar Brad Paisley.
The twosome will be celebrating a decade of hosting together on November 8, and Brad recently confirmed that while they’ll still be bringing forward their signature comedic approach to the show, things will take a more sombre turn as they pay tribute to the country music fans who lost their lives at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas last month.
Brad revealed that he and Carrie won’t “dwell” on the mass shooting tragedy that killed 59, but admitted to Rolling Stone that the country music community has “to make sure we honor those we’ve lost” during the award show.
“The theme of the show this year is very much about unity and coming together as a format,” Brad then added.
The 58th Annual CMA Awards 2017 will air live on ABC on November 8.
