‘Poldark’ Season 3, Episode 6 Preview: The Synopsis, Trailer, And When It Airs On PBS Masterpiece
Another episode of Poldark Season 3 premieres on PBS Masterpiece tonight. Counting tonight’s hour, there are only three episodes left this season, and Episode 6 will kick it into high gear. Not since Season 2, Episode 7 has there been as many game-changing developments on Poldark.
If you enjoy the series’ high drama, Episode 6 delivers with an installment that truly changes everything. If there is one theme in this episode it is “tension.” There are few characters not experiencing it and it grows so thick, it is downright tangible.
First things first, here is the official synopsis from PBS’ official press site and it is telling.

“Rev. Whitworth puts Morwenna through the tortures of the damned. Aunt Agatha and George cross swords in their deadliest match yet. Demelza gets an admirer who owes his life to Ross.”
So what do all of these dark spoilers mean and is there any light at the end of the tunnel? With the exception of Dwight (Luke Norris), Caroline (Gabriella Wilde), and their marriage, the sad answer is not really.
Morwenna’s marriage to Rev. Whitworth is as one would expect: horrible. Her devotion to Drake (Harry Richardson) continues. While the Morwenna (Ellise Chappell) and Drake romance dominated Poldark‘s focus in Episode 5, the next installment broadens its horizons.
The Big Story
After countless episodes of volcanic pressure between George (Jack Farthing) and Ross’ Aunt Agatha (Caroline Blakiston), the pair’s war of words and wills is about to come to a feverish head. While George and Agatha’s acidic repartee has been a source of some comedic relief, their clash in Episode 6 proves to be no laughing matter.
So who will come out on top, the last Poldark of Trenwith, or the ambitious misanthrope? Tune in and find out.
Ross And Demelza
