‘Ladies Of London’: Where Are They Now? Will There Be A New Season?

Fans of Ladies of London have been crossing their fingers that there will be another season of the Bravo show, but considering that several members of the cast are no longer living in London, or the United Kingdom for that matter, it seems unlikely. With Marissa Hermer in her native California and Caroline Stanbury in Dubai, the only way there will be a new chapter of Ladies of London is if it is reconstituted by adding new cast members.

There have been many changes since Ladies of London Season 3 wrapped. And even though all of the ladies departed with a never-say-never philosophy, it’s fairly safe to say that it’s a wrap. The biggest piece of news was the passing of Caroline Fleming’s father in Denmark. Baron Niels Krabbe Iuel-Brockdorff of Denmark was struggling with cancer, but Caroline was at his side at the end.

Caroline Fleming wanted the fans of Ladies of London who passes along their condolences to know that she has heard them.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your very kind and loving condolences through what has been excruciatingly painful days. We were by my father’s side to the very end, and his final journey was beautiful.”

Caroline Stanbury has settled in with husband Cem Habib and their children in Dubai, but she confirms that she isn’t sure how long she will be there, and the family has not totally closed the door on London. In the meantime, Caroline Stanbury has been working on a home decor line. Stanbury explained that she started designing the furniture for herself because she didn’t want a house full of Ikea furnishings.

“My furniture line I created for myself as I didn’t want to spend a fortune on furniture, I didn’t know how long I was going to be living in Dubai for. So, I created something mid-price range with myself being the first customer and I hope everyone likes it.”

Caroline says that she has been in touch with the others from Ladies of London. She says she is planning a ski trip with Juliet Angus, and Caroline Fleming had already visited her in Dubai. She says she texts with Julie Montagu.

“That’s our relationship, hi and bye.”

Caroline Stanbury says that her relationships with Adela and Sophie are being mended, but she has no relationship at all with Marissa.

Caroline Fleming has been promoting her new English language cookbook, Cook Yourself Happy, and when asked if she thinks there will be a Ladies of London Season 4, she didn’t seem optimistic that the London ladies would get back together.

“I think that Ladies of London, for now, is parked on a really beautiful bookshelf, with a lot of other magnificent pieces of work. I can’t tell you if [or] when someone’s gonna reach for that book again.”

Marissa Hermer seems settled back into California with husband Matt and their children. The family is living in Pacific Palisades where, like Caroline Fleming, she completed her own cookbook, An American Girl in London: 120 Nourishing Recipes for Your Family From a Californian Expat.

In working on her cookbook in her new California kitchen, she was happy to have a lot more space than she did in London.

“There’s a part of the kitchen that’s for entertaining and also a side kitchen that’s almost more industrial. There are three stoves, three ovens, and four sinks. There’s a two-fridge, four-freezer situation and a wine fridge underneath the island.”

While Marissa says she loved her house in London, the large amount of space makes life easier, as the family doesn’t have to squeeze into the space.

During the shooting of Ladies of London, Julie Montagu always seemed stretched too thin, and some things never change. Julie is still doing her yoga and was a headliner at the first Wanderlust Yoga Festival in London’s Victoria Park this year. Julie’s focus is still on making Mapperton (south of London near Dorset) to be profitable and to raise her kids with their own passions.

“I remind the children that you get to choose the legacy you leave – and it’s better that should be about helping others rather than accumulating things.”

Sophie Stanbury has also moved house since Ladies of London ended, but she is still in London. Sophie’s new place for herself and sons Harry and Finn is in Putney. She scaled down from an eight-bedroom house to one with five bedrooms.

“Everything’s really come together really quickly.”

Sophie, who works as an interior designer, has worked hard to make the new place cozy.
