Julianna Margulies Tells Creepy Story About Hotel Meeting With Steven Seagal

Juliana Margulies is the latest actress to speak out against a powerful Hollywood fixture. In her case, Margulies claims to have had an encounter with Steven Seagal that she’s not been able to forget after all these years.

In Friday, Margulies recalled the scary confrontation with Seagal during a SiriusXM interview with Jennie Hutt. Much like many of the stories that have been shared about Harvey Weinstein in recent weeks, Margulies said that she was summoned to a late-night hotel meeting.

The Good Wife star said she was only 23-years old at the time and was living in Brooklyn. Already questioning the reason behind a late night hotel meetup, Margulies said she tried to get out of it. What makes Juliana’s story even more shocking is that she says a female casting director promised to be there with her in order to make her feel safe.

“When I was 23, a casting director, a woman, said, ‘Well, Steven Seagal wants to go over the scene with you in his hotel room at 10 o’clock at night,'”Juliana said. “And I lived in Brooklyn, and I said, ‘Oh, I don’t do that. I don’t travel. I don’t have money for a cab.’ And I didn’t and I said, ‘And I don’t take subways late at night.’ And she says, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll reimburse you. And I’m here.’ A woman, because we need to start holding these people accountable.”

Margulies continued, “And I got to the hotel around 10:40 p.m. and she wasn’t there and he was alone and he made sure that I saw his gun, which I had never seen a gun in real life. And I got out of there unscathed…I never was raped, and I never was harmed. I don’t know how I got out of that hotel room. It always starts with ‘I’m a healer. I want to massage you’ and I sort of squirmed my way out.”

Based on the time frame and the filmography for each of the actors, it looks like Juliana Margulies was filming Out For Justice with Seagal. Based on her story of being 23 years old at the time, this incident would have allegedly taken place in 1989.

While she didn’t name Out For Justice specifically as the film she was making with Seagal, it was released in 1991, just two years after she said that the action star invited her to his hotel room to work on lines, only to reportedly offer her a massage instead.

So far, Steven Seagal has not responded to requests for his comment on the hotel meetup that took place nearly three decades ago.
