Corey Feldman Gets Support From Fellow Child Stars Alyssa Milano, ‘Lost Boys’ Brother As He Names His Abusers

Corey Feldman is getting support from former child stars as he releases some of the names of the men who allegedly molested him when he was working as a child actor in the 1980s. Feldman, who claims to have the names of six men involved in a Hollywood pedophile ring, appeared on The Dr. Oz Show to name his former co-star Jon Grissom as one of the men who allegedly sexually assaulted him in the 1980s. Grissom, a former actor, had small roles in the Feldman movies License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream in 1988 and 1989. In addition, Feldman told Today’s Megyn Kelly that former child talent manager and convicted sex offender Marty Weiss was also one of his alleged abusers, according to CBS News.

Corey Feldman recently launched a crowdfunding “Truth” campaign with a goal to raise $10 million so that he can produce a feature film that will detail his alleged abuse in Hollywood. Feldman said a portion of the $10 million would also cover a team of lawyers and security for his family members.

Some people questioned Corey Feldman’s reasoning for keeping the names of his alleged molesters to himself. Feldman previously wrote about the abuse of himself and his co-star Corey Haim in his 2013 memoir Coreyography, but said his publisher’s lawyers made him change the names of his abusers. In the book, Jon Grissom was identified as “Ron Crimson.”

Now that he has released some of the names of his alleged abusers, seemingly putting himself and his family at risk, Corey Feldman is getting support from other Hollywood stars, many of whom he worked with during his heyday as a child star in the 1980s.

Corey Feldman’s supporters include longtime friend Alyssa Milano, who apologized for not realizing that Corey had been abused. Feldman defended Milano, saying she may not have known what was going on because his abusers “liked boys.”

“I’m sorry anyone ever hurt you,” Milano wrote. “It kills me. Maybe in my attempt to protect myself, I was blind to what was happening 2u.”

In addition, former Little House on the Prairie star Alison Arngrim (Nellie Olesen on the series) posted to Twitter to tell Feldman he is doing the right thing by coming forward. Other stars who supported Feldman include Stranger Things’ Sean Astin, who starred with Corey in the 1985 movie The Goonies, as well as Feldman’s Stand By Me co-star Bradley Gregg.

Actor Keith Coogan, the grandson of Addams Family star Jackie Coogan and best known for his roles in ’80s/’90s teen films Adventures in Babysitting and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, also offered support to Feldman. Coogan posted a lengthy statement about his knowledge of inappropriate Hollywood parties “with grown men and young kids,” revealing that men who abused underage boys “was an open secret” when he was growing up in Hollywood.

In one of the most poignant posts, Corey Feldman’s Lost Boys co-star Jamison Newlander, who played his brother Alan Frog in the 1987 vampire flick, revealed he came out of a news blackout to support Feldman. Corey Feldman responded to his “Frog” brother to thank him and tell him he may need to talk to him.
