Chris Pratt And Anna Faris’ Son Jack Makes First Instagram Appearance Since Parents’ Split

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’s five-year-old son, Jack, has been spending a lot of time with his dad lately. And if Mr. Pratt’s latest Instagram photo is any indication, Jack is looking happy as ever, and that’s despite the fact that it’s only been months since his parents announced their split to the public.

Pratt and Faris may have gone their separate ways after an eight-year marriage, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t remain best friends.

In a joint statement announcing their split back in August, the former couple told the public that they’d like to keep their personal lives as private as possible for the sake of their son, Jack.

“Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” they wrote.

As it stands, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris remain committed to co-parenting their son. As the Guardians of the Galaxy actor recently wrote in the foreword of his estranged wife’s book Unqualified, the former celebrity couple will be “just fine” and are doing their best to “amicably co-parent a human.”

So far, at least going by Anna Faris’s book, the former couple have been doing well by their son. It comes as no surprise, either. For one, Jack is one thing they share that keeps their bond strong, not to mention their shared experience of soldiering on for their son during his struggles after being born two months premature. Five days after welcoming Jack, a birth pediatric surgeon sat Chris Pratt and Anna Faris down to inform them that their son had suffered severe brain bleeding, which could potentially cause him to be developmentally disabled. The physician added that they won’t know if that is the case until their son reaches 18-months-old.

Five years after their scary ordeal, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’s son suffers only “minor leg muscle and vision issues.” In her book, Anna writes that she and Chris “know how fortunate we are to have a happy ending,” as reported by US Weekly.

As such, Jack is looking like a superhero after watching Thor: Ragnarok at the cinema with his dad and uncle on Friday night.

As mentioned earlier, Pratt has been spending lots of quality time with his son in the last few days. On Tuesday night, the father-and-son duo were spotted trick-or-treating in West Hollywood. Curiously, Jack chose to be Captain America rather than Star-Lord for the occasion.
