How Did The Reported Feud Between Jill And Jinger Duggar Start? Several Theories Swirl Online
There have been rumors swirling for a while now that Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy, are feuding with her sister Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, Derick. Fueling the fire, whether inadvertently or not, is Michelle Duggar, the girls’ mother. She has written several blog posts recently, discussing how feuds and bitterness can tear family members apart and that jealousy should have no place in the heart.
Fans have come to the conclusion that the sisters are feuding from their posts on social media, as they have noted that Jill Duggar Dillard doesn’t follow her sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo or her husband, Jeremy. While for some families, this might not be a big deal, but as the Duggar family lives most of their lives on social media, it does show something is up.
While critics of the family have stated that the sisters would never admit something was amiss in the Duggar clan, some have their theories on why the sisters are supposedly at war with one another.
From the girls’ book, Growing Up Duggar, and from several interactions seen on the show, some fans and critics have deduced that Jill Duggar Dillard was the police officer or “snitch” of the family.
At one point, Jinger Duggar Vuolo stated that she wanted to live in New York City, and Jill and Michelle both readily put Jinger down, saying she doesn’t actually want to live there and instead just wants to live closer to Walmart.

Some feel that Jill Duggar Dillard is jealous of Jinger for being able to break away from the family’s iron fist, even if it just means she wears pants, listens to secular music, and might be using birth control.
Another theory is that the issues in their childhoods have compounded, and Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger’s husband, has judged Jill and Derick for their missionary work. Their missionary work was never sanctioned by any church, and in fact, they were rejected by their local church. Jeremy called missionaries unaffiliated with a church unproductive and stated that they do more harm than good.
Some question whether Jinger’s family, in general, disapprove of Jeremy because of his worldly ways, but it seems that doesn’t stop Jinger from being close to the rest of her family.
