‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: New ‘Y&R’ Promo Confirms Thad Luckinbill’s Return, JT Returns For Victoria?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Thad Luckinbill will return as J.T. Hellstrom on Tuesday, December 12. In the video, J.T. said that sometimes you have to leave behind something to realize what you had in the first place. It seemed to imply that he could be coming back for his ex-wife, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). However, CBS could be trying to throw the fans off.
The new Young and the Restless promo confirms the actor’s return. Hellstrom was last seen in 2010, when he left Genoa City with young Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) in tow. It’s safe to assume J.T. will bring excitement and confusion to Victoria’s life.
At first, Young and the Restless spoilers assumed that J.T. would come back to see Reed. Rumors on social media suggested that Reed could nearly die in the fire and J.T. may return to see his son. Now that Reed was safely rescued, Hellstrom’s visit has to be about something else.
Not much is known about his Young and the Restless return other than he will appear in a handful of episodes. His comeback is expected to last through January, possible going into February. So, what could keep J.T. in Genoa City for two to three months?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that his plan may be to see his son. It’s been quite awhile since he’s seen his teenager, so a visit is probably in order. However, he wouldn’t stick around for over two months just to hang with his son. Something more significant will keep him around.
The best guess would be either a fight for custody of Reed, which probably wouldn’t happen since Reed is in high school or J.T. and Victoria will reconnect.
For those Young and the Restless fans that don’t remember J.T., at one time, Hellstrom and Victoria were “the couple” of the show. They had a strong relationship that lasted for quite a while. Just like most of Victoria’s relationships, over time, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) destroyed it.

The Young and the Restless fans are thrilled that Thad Luckinbill is back. They hope he sticks around for a little while and becomes a part of the show again.
