‘Teen Mom OG’: Matt Baier Devastated By Amber Portwood Pregnancy, Still In Love With Her

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child, and no one is more shocked than her former fiance, Matt Baier. Matt recently found out about Portwood’s big baby news, and his first reaction was surprise. Of course, Matt was feeling a range of emotions upon hearing the news.

According to Hollywood Life, Matt Baier is “happy” for Amber Portwood, but an insider close to the situation claims the baby news is “a blow for him.” Matt and Amber were supposed to get married last month, on Oct. 13, but instead they split and the Teen Mom OG star quickly moved on to current her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, whom she met while filming Marriage Boot Camp with Baier. Matt says he is also dating someone new.

“He’s happy for her but it would be a lie to say it hasn’t been a blow for him. They were supposed to be getting married this past month and instead she’s having a baby with another man. It’s rough.”

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier dated for about three years, and during that time, a lot of drama surrounded their relationship. The couple dealt with issues such as secret children, cheating allegations, and more. The pair finally called it quits in April after Amber, a recovery addict, found out that Matt had offered her Teen Mom OG co-star Catelynn Lowell a Xanax.

While Amber and Matt are officially over, and she’s carrying another man’s child, fans will see Baier during the new season of Teen Mom OG. In addition to Matt and Amber’s drama, fans will also see Maci Bookout deal with the aftermath of Ryan Edwards’ drug use. In the new trailer, Maci tells Ryan that he must pass drug tests in order to spend time with his son, Bentley. All the while, Farrah Abraham gets ready to move to California, and Catelynn and Tyler look to take the next step in their lives.

It’s unclear as of yet whether or not Amber Portwood’s pregnancy will be a storyline during the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG. Amber has yet to officially announce her pregnancy to the world. She’s said to have told her close friends and family members and got very good feedback in return.
