Dolores Catania Reveals Jacqueline Laurita’s Thoughts On The Danielle Staub And Teresa Giudice Drama
Jacqueline Laurita is keeping abreast with all of the drama that’s going on in the current season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. On Wednesday night, after the latest episode of Real Housewives aired, Dolores Catania appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed Jacqueline’s thoughts on her feud with Danielle Staub over what was supposedly said about Teresa Giudice. Dolores also revealed where she currently stands with former housewife Jacqueline.
During the after-show portion of the talk show, a viewer called in and asked Dolores about the current state of her friendship with Jacqueline. Last season on Real Housewives, Dolores was introduced to viewers as a long-time friend of both Jacqueline and Teresa. Throughout Jacqueline’s drama with Teresa on Season 7, Dolores stayed neutral and remained friends with both women. After the season ended, Jacqueline announced that she made the decision to not return to the show. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jacqueline claimed that she turned down the show because the producers wouldn’t guarantee that she would be featured as one of the starring housewives, and it wasn’t worth it for her to just be a part-time housewife.
Dolores said that she and Jacqueline Laurita are still friends. Dolores added that Jacqueline just texted her regarding everything that’s going on between her and Danielle. According to Dolores, Jacqueline, who feuded with Danielle on the first two seasons of Real Housewives, believes that Danielle is back to her old ways.
“I do [still run into Jacqueline]. Jacqueline has a heart of gold. I do. I don’t see her enough ’cause I’ve been so busy. She lives around the corner from me actually. And, um, we texted each other today. And she said, ‘Hello,’ and ‘Danielle’s back to her old tricks,’ basically.”
During the talk show, Dolores Catania also gave her side of the story regarding Danielle Staub’s claim that during a visit to her house, Dolores told her that there’s nothing Teresa Giudice cares more about than money.
“There was no conversation. There was a zero conversation regarding Teresa and everything.”
Dolores explained that she simply went to Danielle’s house so that her son could speak to Danielle’s fiance about a possible internship.
“I left Frankie in the foyer, I thanked them for having Frankie, and I walked out. And then I went back, Danielle was not there, I picked Frankie up, and that was it. And next thing you know, this story came out of nowhere. But this is typical of Danielle. She’s done this before. So it’s par for the course.”
Over the past two episodes of Real Housewives, Dolores has maintained that she never said a bad thing about Teresa and that Danielle’s just trying to stir trouble. Despite Dolores’ denials, Danielle has stuck by her claim. Teresa, meanwhile, has remained friends with Danielle and seems to believe her.
As the Inquisitr reported when The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 began airing a few weeks ago, Jacqueline Laurita revealed that she’s no longer watching the show. Last week, Jacqueline explained that while she’s not watching the show, she still knows what’s going on because she’s still friends with Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania. Jacqueline added that she loves Dolores and Siggy.
