Chris Brown Slams Karrueche For Only Being Famous For Dating Him On New Album, Bitter About Split?
Chris Brown may have stayed silent on recent allegations that he allegedly abused Karrueche Tran while the duo was dating, but it seems that the singer finally has something to say.
The 28-year-old, who dropped his latest album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, yesterday, seemingly slams his ex-girlfriend by subliminally describing her as someone who is only famous because of the life Chris Brown had given to her.
In the song, titled “Everybody Knows,” the “Run It” R&B singer makes it known that he gave the world to someone who clearly didn’t appreciate everything that was offered to her, Hollywood Life reveals.
Chris Brown notes that before getting with him, the significant other he was with, whom he never calls by name, was unimportant to the world; a nobody, for that matter.
But now, Chris says that things seem to have changed and that the person he is talking about in the track has forgotten how she was able to make a career for herself by simply having been the ex-girlfriend to one of the biggest artists in the world.
It’s clear that Brown isn’t happy with this particular person, as he goes on to say that he hopes all the things that have gotten her to the place where she is now was worth it.
Earlier this year, Karrueche infamously filed a restraining order against Chris Brown, claiming that she had feared for her life following alleged threats made by her ex-boyfriend, whom she says was often physically abusive during their time together.
From allegedly being physically attacked to an incident where she was supposedly pushed down a flight of stairs, Karrueche noted that she needed immediate protection from the court, and that was what she ended up receiving.
Chris Brown is no longer allowed to come in contact with Tran, but it seems that with Karrueche still doing well with her acting career and her own beauty company, Brown feels entitled to credit for the success that the 29-year-old has been having since their breakup.
Meanwhile, Heartbreak on a Full Moon has been praised by critics who call it one of Chris Brown’s best efforts in many years.
