Mark Ballas Speaks Out About Lindsey Stirling’s Injury, Gives Update
Last night on Dancing With the Stars, Mark Ballas almost didn’t get to dance due to his partner Lindsey Stirling dealing with a rib injury. For a moment, the fans thought they would be done with the show. People shared that Mark is now speaking out and sharing his thoughts, plus an update on how she is doing.
Lindsey actually suffered from this injury on Sunday and was somehow still able to dance on Monday night. You could tell that she was really hurting when it was all over. After the show, Mark shared that Lindsey wanted to be there to talk to the press, but he wasn’t having it. Instead, he sent her home so that she could rest and put ice on her rib.
Mark Ballas explained that nothing is broken, but she has what they call a floating rib. He said this makes the muscles between the ribs really painful. For now, Lindsey Stirling can continue in the competition. It doesn’t look like she will be going home anytime soon. She is a fan favorite that could win the entire thing, so everyone would be surprised if she ends up having to pull out.
It really does look like she can stay on the show, but Mark Ballas made it very clear that he has been worried about her and explained that her health does come first. Hopefully, this injury won’t keep Lindsey from being able to do her best, but last night she showed that she can still dance amazingly despite her injury.
Mark Ballas is a great choreographer and he may have to change things up so that they work better with Lindsey Stirling’s rib injury. Knowing about her injury all week will make it where he can work the dance around her recent injury. The fans can’t wait to see what Mark comes up with them to do next week.
