Fredrik Eklund Reveals Due Date For Twin Babies: When Will He Meet His Children?
Fredrik Eklund announced that he was going to be a father to twins during the Million Dollar Listing: New York season finale this summer. Fredrik was very excited about this news, especially since this wasn’t their first try. Fredrik and his husband, Derek Kaplan, had tried to get pregnant with a surrogate for years, but they had miscarried four babies over three pregnancies. A few years ago, Eklund announced that they were expecting twins, but he later had to announce that their surrogate had miscarried. When he announced the pregnancy this time around, fans were hoping that everything would go well.
Fredrik hasn’t said much about this pregnancy, possibly to avoid a public breakdown if something was to go wrong. But it sounds like he’s ready to become a father and the twins will soon enter the world. For a long time, Eklund didn’t say much about the pregnancy, but they are now in the final stretch and he feels comfortable sharing the news with his fans. According to a new Instagram post, Fredrik Eklund is now revealing that his twins are due in just four weeks. He shared the news on October 28, and four weeks from that day would be Saturday, November 25.
If this is true, then he may have the twins on Thanksgiving. American Thanksgiving falls on November 23, just a few days before the due date. It seems almost symbolic that he will become a father so close to Thanksgiving, as he’s truly thankful that he will get his daughter Milla — something he’s always wanted. He’s also getting a son, Freddy Jr, and one can imagine he will be an emotional wreck when his surrogate gives birth. Over the past couple of weeks, he has been relaxing in Connecticut with his husband and recharging for this upcoming chapter. It’s possible that the surrogate isn’t in New York and he will be flying out of town to attend the birth in just a few weeks.
What do you think about Fredrik Eklund getting ready to meet his twins? Are you excited to follow his journey as he becomes a father in just a few weeks?
