Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo Wedding: What To Expect From ‘Descendants of the Sun’ Stars After The Ceremony?
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo have finally tied the knot a few months after they admitted that they were in a relationship. Many fans were shocked after the former Descendants of the Sun stars divulged their plans to get married in July. The Song-Song couple walked down the aisle on Tuesday, October 31, at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul City, South Korea.
Soompi reports that the heavily-guarded wedding ceremony was attended by Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo’s closest relatives and friends. Among the celebrities who graced the much talked about event, include Lee Kwang-soo, Park Bo-gum, Yoo Ah-in, Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Park Bo-young, Kim Ji-won, and Park Hyung-sik. Donghae, Minho, Junho, Han Jae-uk, Jung Suk-won, and Kim Je-dong were also spotted in the venue.
The news publication adds that Park Bo-gum played the piano and Ock Joo-hyun sang for Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo. Yoo Ah-in and Lee Kwang-soo, on the other hand, read letters at the wedding ceremony. A representative from the couple’s agencies said that they are very happy for all the love and support shown by the fans and friends for the Descendants of the Sun lead actors.

For starters, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo rose to fame after they starred in the hit drama series titled Descendants of the Sun. The Sungkyunkwan Scandal actor had portrayed the role of Captain Yoo Shi-jin while the Full House actress played as Doctor Kang Mo-yeon. The couple had previously denied the reports claiming that they are dating in real life.
Meanwhile, Inquirer previously shared that Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo might stay at the actor’s luxury house in Itaewon-dong, Seoul after their wedding. The news outlet claimed that the Descendants of the Sun actor intentionally bought the two-story villa as the couple’s marital home. Reports suggest that the house sits on land measuring 602 square meters and has a total floor area of 371.1 square meters.

Song Joong-ki had also revealed that he would not be reuniting with Song Hye-kyo on the small screen anytime soon, which sparked speculation that the pair may not do the much-awaited sequel of Descendants of the Sun anymore.
