Were Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Spotted Kissing After The Weeknd Breakup?

Amid a whole lot of speculation over the current status of Selena Gomez and ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s relationship in the wake of her split with The Weeknd, new photos have hit the web which some fans are claiming could show the former couple getting pretty close and sharing a kiss.

Gomez and Bieber fans were sent into meltdown mode on October 30 after a number of social media users published photos of the twosome hanging out together and alleged that they were kissing.

Verge24 also published the candid photos online and claimed that the grainy images supposedly showed Selena and Justin kissing and embracing just hours before the “It Ain’t Me” singer’s breakup with The Weeknd was officially confirmed.

While it’s not clear if the former couple really are kissing in the grainy snaps, the possibility of the twosome – who called it quits in 2015 – potentially getting back together and sharing a smooch was enough to get fans of both artists pretty excited.

“THEY KISSING,” one fan wrote after uploading the photos to social media, while another tweeted, “JUSTIN AND SELENA KISSING MY WIG FLEW B****.”

Another claimed the home the two were in belonged to Justin, tweeting the image and alleging that “Selena and Justin [were] spotted kissing at his house!”

But while a number of fans of both artists, known as the Selenators and the Beliebers, were pretty convinced that the paparazzi photos showed the two kissing following Gomez’s split with The Weeknd, others weren’t so sure that the snaps were confirmation of a reconciliation.

“The pics are super blurry how can [you] see?” one social media user hit back at others claiming the two were locking lips in the images. “Lmao where’s Selenas head? Deada** can’t see s*** how is that ‘Jelena’ kissing?? It’s a blob,” another added amid all the speculation.

ATRL forum users also speculated on the images. One user claimed it looked more like the two could have been sharing a hug rather than a lip lock.

People confirmed on October 30 that Selena and The Weeknd had officially broken up after about 10 months together, though neither have officially spoken out on social media.

But while the split sparked speculation that Gomez may be reconciling with her ex, a source connected to the former couple denied this week that she and Bieber were back together and claimed that they’re nothing more than friends right now.

Gomez and Bieber originally dated on and off for five years from 2010 until they officially called it quits in 2015.

Selena was first spotted with The Weeknd back in January, but while it’s not clear exactly when they broke up, TMZ published photos of the singer hanging out with her ex at her home in California last week.

Justin and Selena have since been spotted together again on multiple occasions, including grabbing breakfast together at a diner on October 29.
