Chris Hemsworth Says He Wants To Be Chris Pratt In Humorous Instagram Post
Chris Hemsworth is about to star in his latest Marvel movie, Thor: Ragnarok, and while this will be the sixth time that the actor has played the part, it would seem that he wants more out of life. In fact, based on his latest Instagram post, Hemsworth seems to be considering what it would mean to be a completely different person.
On October 28, as the Daily Mail reported, the Thor actor claimed that he wants to be his friend Chris Pratt. In a picture posted by Chris Hemsworth, the actor can be seen kneeling with his hands in a position of prayer, as if hoping to achieve his apparent goal, next to a poster showing a smoking man. The caption on this particular poster reads, “everyone wants to be Chris Pratt. Even I want to be Chris Pratt.” The actor added his own Instagram caption that simply read, “it’s true.”
While the Instagram post makes it clear that Chris Hemsworth at the very least admires Chris Pratt, this is not the first time that the Thor actor has shared his appreciation for the Guardians of the Galaxy actor. During an interview with Elle Magazine, Hemsworth was asked when was the last time he found himself intimidated by another man. He shared that he found himself to be “weirdly shaken” after he met Pratt on the set of Guardians.
Chris Hemsworth went on to say that he did not really know what it was about the other man that made him feel that way. However, he did describe Chris Pratt as being “just so charismatic. And good at what he does.”
While the two actors may work together as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this moment of admiration comes after Chris Hemsworth shared that he wants to see more movies being made on his home soil in Australia. With Thor: Ragnarok having been filmed in Queensland, Hemsworth has shared that he really would like to film all of his projects in Australia because he feels like this was one of the best experiences he has had so far in his career when it comes to filming.
Whether he is talking about the possibility of bringing more movies to Australia for filming or sharing his apparent admiration for Chris Pratt on his Instagram account, Chris Hemsworth seems to have a lot on his mind going into the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok.
