WWE Officials Already Have A Massive Match Planned For Kurt Angle At ‘WrestleMania 34’
The WWE Universe was shocked when Kurt Angle’s in-ring return was announced for WWE TLC out of the blue. Immediately, there was a lot of debate about why the decision was made for him to return with almost no buildup or time to promote the event. It was reported shortly after Angle’s performance at the event that WWE officials didn’t even consider anyone else to replace Roman Reigns because they felt that Kurt Angle gave the PPV a marquee feel, especially with it being his long-awaited return to the ring after 11 years.
Regardless of the reasons, Kurt Angle became an honorary member of The Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, who went on to defeat the team of The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman. The WWE Universe was ecstatic to see The Olympic Hero back in the WWE ring and it answered any big questions about his health status. However, WWE fans just want to know when Kurt Angle’s next match will happen.
It’s being reported that despite the sudden announcement for him to make his in-ring return at WWE TLC, WWE officials were planning his return long before the PPV. Plans may have changed a bit, but the powers that be already have something massive planned for him at WrestleMania 34. It seems that WWE officials are just working on how and when to bring the creative plans to television, but a huge name will face Angle.
Apparently, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Triple H, and others are all being considered. A huge match for Kurt Angle was never in doubt, but there is a lot of speculation about him wrestling before the grandest stage of them all in April. It’s being rumored that he could be one of the five members of Team Raw during the five-on-five traditional “Survivor Series” elimination match. He could also wrestle at the Royal Rumble.
WWE officials were forced to make a big decision heading into WWE TLC after Roman Reigns went down with a viral illness last week. Kurt Angle could finally step back into the WWE ring, but it’s just a matter of time before he has a singles match against a top opponent. That is what the WWE Universe wants to see on the grandest stage of them all.
