‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kassie DePaiva On Eve Donovan And Coming Back After Cancer Battle

Days Of Our Lives spoilers for November sweeps reveal that Kassie DePaiva is coming back as Eve Donovan. That happens today, on Friday, October 27. In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actress spoke about her character and returning after her courageous cancer battle. Keep reading to get the details.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Eve Donovan arrives in Salem today. She drops the bombshell that she is Deimos Kiriakis‘ (Vincent Irizarry) widow.

“Eve comes in with her guns loaded, as well as her pocketbook. Eve had gone through a lot when she left Salem and moved to New York. The Eve that we see come back is the one that we’re very familiar with.”

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the Kiriakis family is not happy with the news. However, Eve is quite happy with her announcement. Kassie DePaive compared the story to mixing oil and vinegar.

As fans know, the actress was supposed to come back in June 2016. Eve Donovan was going to be given a new storyline. However, a cancer diagnosis would change everything in her personal and professional life.

“I shot basically five episodes, and then went to routine doctor appointments, and follow-ups, when they said, ‘Oh, by the way, you have cancer.’ I had to let the show know and [executive producer] Ken Corday and [co-executive producer] Greg Meng were so lovely. They said, ‘When you get a clean bill of health, you’re always part of the Days family.'”

The Days Of Our Lives actress admitted that she was nervous her first day back. Chemotherapy can have a lot of side effects, both short-term and long-term. Memory issues can be one of those. She was concerned that there would be a stigma associated with her cancer, wouldn’t be able to keep up, or might not remember her lines. However, everything went smoothly, even though it was quite an emotional return.

Congratulations go out to Kassie DePaiva for being in remission. Look for her character, Eve Donovan, to stir up things in Salem when she appears on Days Of Our Lives this afternoon. Also, expect to learn about Eve’s history with Deimos Kiriakis. It is known that Vincent Irizarry is coming back, but there is speculation that it will be flashbacks of the two together. It will be interesting to see how these two managed to keep their romance a secret from everyone, including viewers.
