‘Alaskan Bush People’: Ami’s Second Chemo On Hold, Family Travels To Colorado

The Brown family is on the move again, and there’s a possibility Ami Brown is with them on a road trip to Colorado. The Alaskan Bush People star’s second chemotherapy is reportedly on hold because of Ami’s weight. She is also said to be experiencing some side effects from the cancer treatment.

Billy and some of his children were spotted in Arizona and Colorado, as revealed by fan photos posted on social media. With that, fans could not help but wonder if Ami is with them. Billy is never away from his wife’s side since she has been diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer, so Ami is most likely traveling with her husband and children.

Ami’s cancer treatment

That possibility did not sit well with some Alaskan Bush People fans who are worried about the 54-year-old’s condition. ABP Exposed, known to provide insider information about the Alaskan Bush People, said that Ami’s chemotherapy has been put briefly on hold because of her weight and the treatment’s side effects. They are putting their critically ill mother at a great risk, one fan commented.

“She doesn’t need the effort of a road trip. Even if it’s in a high end RV or all the best hotels along the way. Strange food….exposure to contamination….exposure to poor sanitation….stress of travel. Sheesh people. If she needs to get out take a short car trip to beach or local hills,” another one added on Facebook.

Alaskan Bush People Season 8 filming

With the Brown family traveling together to Colorado, it could be a hint that Alaskan Bush People might be filming another season there. Last season, it was revealed that the Browns are planning to set up their new Browntown in Colorado after they left their homestead in Alaska in light of Ami’s medical needs.

ABP Exposed shared a new photo of Billy with his children, Matt, Gabe, Snowbird, and Rainy. It was taken at Route 66, Ash Fork, Arizona. One fan shared a photo of himself and Billy, which was taken at Sanders, Arizona. Meanwhile, Rain posed next to a statue of a reindeer and shared the photo on her Instagram page. It was taken at Cabela’s in Colorado.

Ami has been battling lung cancer and went through a rigorous radiation treatment and chemotherapy. Rain, 14, has confirmed in her social media post that her mother is going through the second round of chemotherapy, but she could not divulge how she is currently doing. Meanwhile, being able to undergo another set of chemotherapy could actually suggest that Ami is doing quite well given the horrors of such treatment.
