Ashley Judd To Harvey Weinstein: ‘I Love You,’ He is ‘Sick And Suffering’
Ashley Judd had an interesting message for Harvey Weinstein in the wake of the 60 women lobbing sexual assault allegations against him. As seen in the Good Morning America video from ABC News, Ashley spoke about the day she was scheduled to meet the embattled movie producer, and Judd was taken aback when she discovered that Weinstein wasn’t meeting her on a hotel patio or public room, but he was in his own hotel room.
Ashley was visibly moved to tears when she spoke about Harvey and the day she jogged to pray about whether or not to reveal her alleged experiences with Weinstein. Judd said that she got the go-ahead from her famous mother, and as a result, felt free to speak about that day with Harvey when Ashley was a 28-year-old actress. Weinstein pestered Ashley for a massage, according to Judd, and although she kept saying no, Harvey persisted.
According to Ashley, Weinstein also offered to give Judd a massage and asked her to watch him take a bath. Judd said that she stood frozen in fear for more than five minutes, feeling trapped by Weinstein in the hotel room. With the layout of the hotel room burned into her brain, Ashley said that she was able to get away from Weinstein by promising to give him sex when she won an Academy Award.

Judd’s promise of sex at a future date was enough to allow her the opportunity to escape Harvey’s hotel room. According to ABC News, Judd called perpetrators like Harvey “shameless.” The 49-year-old Judd spoke of predators attempting to put their “toxic shame” onto those that they assault. Ashley spoke of some of her friends going public with their own #MeToo experiences while others have not yet come forward.
