Crimson Tide Quarterback Dating Miss Alabama

It’s the classic High School love story come to life, only this time it’s college. College quarterback for the SEC, A.J. McCarron is dating Miss Alabama 2012 Katherine Webb.

Remember Texas quarterback Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend, the model Sarah Savage?

Inquiring minds cracked the case by piecing together flirty tweets to each other. A tweet from Webb said she would be sitting with the McCarrons for the BCS Championship Game, according to Yahoo Sports.

Now Zach Mettenberger, quarterback for the LSU Tigers, just needs to make the next move.

An interesting twist that makes the story a little more unusual than the age-old “quarterback meets girl” tale is that Webb is a graduate of Auburn, says The Hollywood Gossip. She graduated in May of 2011 with a degree in business management. McCarron may have scored himself a smart one.

Webb’s relationship with the Crimson Tide’s quarterback could cause a bit of a stir in that divided state. Students of rival schools mixing it up is just scandalous, but they’re making it work.

Webb, on her Twitter account, looks to be taking it all in stride. She’s no stranger to the spotlight, after all. Models spend hours a day in it, changing clothes, touching up makeup and posing for a camera.
