‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jealous Nick Fumes Over Victor-Scott Bond, Burns Down Underground

Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is working a two-pronged plan to punish Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for turning his back on him. Victor devised a way to hurt Nick on a personal and professional level to ensure his son comes crawling back to the Newman fold. What looked like an opportunity for a peaceful truce turns to sour grapes next week when Victor uses Scott Grainger (Daniel Hall) to wound Nick and show his traitorous son how he rewards loyalty.

Scott arrested – Victor stands by him

Y&R spoilers for today’s show from Soap Hub reveal that Victor called Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) so he could arrest Scott for the murder of Natalia, the sex ring worker, but Victor wasn’t trying to sting Scott – he’s trying to save him. By getting Paul over to the scene of the crime, he’s got faith that the evidence will exonerate Scott, even though the Hashtag boss will have to cool his heels behind bars for a few hours.

It won’t be too long before they figure out Zack (Ryan Ashton) set up Scott and the ringleader of the sex trafficking circle is found and arrested. Y&R spoilers promise that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is stunned when Zack dumps her in preparation to skip town. While she hates Scott, she also knows he’s not a killer, and this means two big scandals are about to rebound on Newman Enterprises.

Victor and Scott have deep ties that bind

While Nick knows that Scott is investigating the sex ring, along with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), it still surprises him that Victor shows unwavering loyalty to Scott throughout the arrest ordeal. But Victor will be happy to point out that when you’re loyal to him, he’s loyal to you. While Nick owes his lifestyle to Victor’s wealth, Scott owes his life to Victor’s generosity. Victor literally saved Scott’s life.

Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that this created an unbreakable bond between Scott and Victor. Nick is behaving like a spoiled child, to Victor’s thinking, and Scott is worthy as a pseudo-son to Victor. Even though Victor and Scott aren’t tied by biology, Scott owes Victor everything and respects him. Y&R spoilers from SheKnows Soaps for next week say that “Victor bests Nick.”

Scott and Victor party like family next week

Next week, Y&R spoilers from this week’s soap magazines report that Nick delves into a foul mood when he sees that Sharon, Scott, and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) are having a good time hanging at the Crimson Lights Halloween party with Victor. Nick feels like Scott has taken over his family and is hurt on a personal level. That’s the same night that Victor reveals how he’s going to hurt Nick on a professional level.

Young and the Restless spoilers from Soap Central promise Victor gets the upper hand. Victor buys Nick’s liquor distributor and is raising prices on Nick for the booze. Victor is creating obstacles that make it harder for Nick to succeed in business without him. This sets Nick on edge and leads to Nick sulking at the bar, according to early leaks on Twitter from this week’s soap magazines. Nick accidentally starts the fire that burns the Underground down and puts lives at risk.

What’s next for Nick and Victor?

When the sex-trafficking ring is exposed, so are its ties to Newman Enterprises. Y&R spoilers promise Victor is furious to learn Abby funded the app that supported the sex ring and didn’t do her due diligence before jumping into business with a shady guy like Zack. This puts Abby on the outs with Victor as well as Nick. That leaves Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Scott in Victor’s good graces.

In the rubble of The Underground fire, Nick’s plans for a future independent of his father go up in flames. Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) will likely scurry back to Newman Enterprises, and Nick will sink further into jealousy over Scott’s bond with Victor and the Mustache winning the revenge game.
