Corey Feldman Announces Plan To Blow The Lid Off Of Hollywood’s Pedophilia Problem
Corey Feldman is ready to talk. Feldman has long alleged that he was molested while working as a child actor in the 1980s, and now he has announced a plan to create a documentary to uncover the truth surrounding sexual abuse in Hollywood based on his first-hand experiences. Corey recorded a seven-minute video announcement, which you can see below, in which he reveals how he plans to blow the lid off of the rampant pedophilia problem in the entertainment industry.
Corey Feldman says his “Truth Campaign” will “literally change the entertainment system as we know it.” The Lost Boys star has vowed to bring down a pedophile ring that has been in operation for three decades.
“I believe that I can also bring down, potentially, a pedophile ring that I have been aware of since I was a child,” Corey said.
“Right off the bat, I can name six names, one of them who is still very powerful today. And a story that links all the way up to a studio. It connects pedophilia to one of the major studios.”
Feldman needs money to make his project a reality, so he has posted a $10 million goal to finance a documentary film which he will direct, produce, and self-distribute. Corey promises there will be “no editing, no censorship, no studio behind the film,” and that it will expose the truth.
Corey Feldman also revealed that ever since he teased the project, he has received threats and is in fear for his life. A portion of the $10 million fund will aid the former child star in ensuring he has the security and legal team needed as he tries to bring down the pedophile ring.
“As most victims have, I’ve been made to feel awkward, misunderstood, and I’ve been degraded at great levels,” Feldman said.
“Rumors have been told, stories have been made up about me. And I’ve been insulted and degraded in ways that were unimaginable to me. All because they fear what I know as the truth.”
Feldman revealed that he is “very afraid” to move forward with his expose, and added that he has been living in fear with this secret his entire life. Feldman also alleged that he had a “near-death experience” upon announcing his project when two vehicles came at him. A statement on the fundraising site for Corey Feldman’s proposed film shows that he has already taken precautions to safeguard his bombshell information should something happen to him.
“As a security measure, Corey has already written down the names and details of the events and given them to a trusted person of power, in case anything should happen to him or any member of his family before the film is finished.”
For years, Corey Feldman has threatened to expose the Hollywood predators he alleges “groomed” him and other pre-teen stars more than 30 years ago. In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Corey alleged that he and his longtime co-star Corey Haim were “passed around” by their molesters.
“Ask anybody in our group of kids at that time: They were passing us back and forth to each other,” Feldman told THR. “[Alison Arngrim] from ‘Little House on the Prairie’ said [in an interview], ‘Everybody knew that the two Coreys were just being passed around.’ Like it was something people joked about on studio lots.”
Corey Feldman has long declined to name names for fear of being sued, as the statute of limitations has run out, but he has said that Haim, who died in 2010, was raped by a powerful player on the set of the movie Lucas at age 11.
Feldman also revealed the teen stars were invited to cocaine-fueled parties and said some of the molesters are still working with kids.
“One of them is [still working in Hollywood]. He’s still prominently in the business today,” Corey said.
Feldman has said in the past that he would “love to name names,” and now he may finally be ready to. Corey Feldman previously detailed his harrowing life as a child star in his 2013 memoir Coreyography. Now, it sounds like he has another chapter to tell.
