Kelly Ripa Reportedly Refusing To Make Amends With Michael Strahan As Ryan Seacrest Readies For NYC Move

After a nasty professional split last year, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan still haven’t mended fences, but the former NFL star is ready to change that. After Strahan abandoned his co-hosting gig on the former Live! With Kelly and Michael for a lucrative gig at Good Morning America, is Ripa willing to finally make amends?

A source at Naughty Gossip (via BET) says that Strahan has offered to talk with Ripa and wants to mend their broken friendship.

“Michael is 100% behind meeting with Kelly and clearing the air. These two were TV-husband-and-wife for many years and to go from seeing someone five days a week to having zero contact makes no sense to him,” claims the insider.

Strahan has attempted, through mutual friends, to set up a meeting with Ripa, but so far, she hasn’t taken him up on the offer.

The former friends and co-hosts have moved on since Strahan announced he was leaving Live! in April of 2016. Strahan is busy with GMA, plus he hosts the ABC revival of the $100,000 Pyramid and is an analyst on FOX NFL Sunday. Strahan left Live! after co-hosting the morning show with Kelly Ripa for four years. He landed the gig after making 20 guest-hosting appearances on the show after Regis Philbin left.

As for Ripa, she added Ryan Seacrest as her new permanent co-host in May of this year, and the show is now called Live! With Kelly and Ryan.

OK! Magazine cameras recently caught Seacrest and his girlfriend of three years, Shayna Taylor, house-hunting in the trendy New York City Tribeca neighborhood. The New York Post reports that the American Idol host moved out of his West Village rental to the Upper East Side, where his rent was reportedly a whopping $75,000 a month.

Now, it seems Seacrest is ready to buy, and Taylor may be moving in. They looked at a $24 million four-bedroom penthouse, another that had an $18.5 million price tag, and finally, one that is listed at $29.5 million.

At least one of those featured a chef’s kitchen, which is good for Taylor since she is an avid healthy cook and often posts pictures and recipes on her social media accounts.

Earlier this year, sources claimed the couple was thinking about marriage, which would be the first one for the 42-year-old Seacrest, and this move just might get them one step closer to tying the knot.
