WWE Spoilers: ‘SmackDown Live’ To Hold Two Huge Matches Impacting ‘Survivor Series 2017’ PPV

When the latest episode of WWE SmackDown Live goes on television Tuesday night, viewers will see several matches with Survivor Series 2017 pay-per-view implications. Just one night after SmackDown invaded Raw, these matches will help shape the blue brand’s team heading towards the big event in November. They’ll involve four superstars, two of which will end up representing the men’s roster of SmackDown at Survivor Series. Spoilers are on the way, so viewers who want to be surprised from tonight’s show should avoid reading further.

Last night, it was revealed on WWE Raw that there will be men’s and women’s team matches at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. However, there were no superstars revealed for either team. On Tuesday, Ringside News reported that possible spoilers for the latest SmackDown Live will involve Dolph Ziggler going against Bobby Roode in a match once again. This time, it’s being said that the match could be a “Best out of three falls” match with the winner getting a spot on the SmackDown team at Survivor Series next month. The two have met in the ring twice now, with Roode winning at the last SmackDown pay-per-view and Ziggler winning about a week ago on the Tuesday night show.

The other big match that looks like it will be on Tuesday night will feature Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn with the winner becoming official captain of “Team SmackDown.” This makes for a first of its kind meeting between Orton and Zayn, as Sami had been a babyface ever since arriving to the main roster. Now that he’s decided to go the other route and help out Kevin Owens, one has to wonder if Owens will get involved in this match as well. It’s possible WWE is headed for a feud involving Owens and Orton, or Zayn and Orton.

With that said, it’s difficult to predict who will take the victories on Tuesday night, but one has to think Sami Zayn will win based on his recent actions and push as a heel. In the other match, “The Glorious” Bobby Roode looks like the early favorite after his recent loss to “The Showoff” on SmackDown Live. Once the show has ended Tuesday night, fans will have an idea of at least a few, if not all of, the members for the blue brand’s team of men’s superstars headed to Survivor Series 2017.

The latest episode of WWE’s SmackDown Live will start at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday night on the USA network.
