Walt Disney World Greatly Extends Park Hours For November 2017
The holiday season is quickly approaching and that means business is about to pick up at Walt Disney World and it also means guests will have a lot more time in the parks. When theme park operating hours are released, they are always subject to change and it usually depends on expected crowd levels. Well, guests visiting WDW in November of 2017 need to be prepared for plenty of extra time as hours have been extended all over the place.
November begins one of the greatest times of the year at Walt Disney World, and this year will be no different. Well, it’s going to be a little different as there are a lot of Christmas and holidays events happening for the first time ever this year, and that means needing more time to enjoy them.
In order to enjoy as many of the new and old events as possible, Disney has now extended park hours across the board in November. On the official website of Walt Disney World, Monday showed a lot of changes to the hours and guests are going to be thrilled to know that they can stay in the parks later now.
Epcot is going to close at 9 p.m. most nights as normal, but it will be open later on the weekends. On Fridays and Saturdays, Epcot will stay open until 10 p.m. instead of closing at the normal 9 p.m., and that means Illuminations is later as well.
On many days, Magic Kingdom has actually added two hours to the regular park hours and as much as three extra evening hours on others. Looking through November, Magic Kingdom is now closing at 11 p.m. on most nights and midnight on a lot of other evenings.
Yes, that means Extra Magic Hours until 2 a.m. on some nights.
Guests will still need to pay attention to the dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as there are a lot of them. On those evenings, guests without party tickets will need to leave Magic Kingdom beginning at 6 p.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has received an extra hour here and there as did Disney’s Animal Kingdom. DAK has a lot of extra things to do at night with Rivers of Light and Pandora while Studios will have the brand new Sunset Season’s Greetings starting this year.
