Blake Lively’s Wedding Photos Show Fully Stocked Dessert Table, S’Mores Bars

Blake Lively’s wedding photos that guests at the private affair had plenty of desserts to pick from, including s’mores bars and lemon tarts.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively kept their September wedding secret, with word of the Charleston, South Carolina, ceremony not leaking until after they tied the knot. But the notoriously private couple decided to share some of their wedding pictures with Martha Stewart Weddings, showing a small but well-catered affair.

“Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are no strangers to a sea of cameras aimed at them,” the magazine noted. “But when they decided to marry, they wanted to celebrate in privacy—and in style. And while they remain protective of images of them on their most heartfelt occasion, they graciously let us share pictures of the elements we created together.”

As the publication noted, the wedding’s overflowing dessert table was Blake Lively’s idea, and pictures showed that guests had plenty of pastries to choose.

The magazine noted:

“An avid cook, crafter, and baker, Blake envisioned an abundant dessert table overflowing with their favorite treats. The focal point was their vanilla-and-sour-cream wedding cake with peach-apricot preserves and Earl Grey-milk chocolate buttercream made by Maggie Austin Cake in Alexandria, Virginia.”

Martha Stewart, who Lively says is her “idol,” had a hand in helping to plan the wedding, People noted.

Blake Lively’s wedding photos also showcased her gown, which Martha Stewart Weddings described as a “cloudlike silk tulle gown featured a fitted bodice, illusion crystal beading on the shoulders, and rose-gold embroidery.”
