Brooke Mueller has reportedly left rehab after only six days, according to The Huffington Post .
The mother of Charlie Sheen’s children checked into a rehabilitation facility less than a week ago for Adderall addiction. TMZ is reporting that Mueller has checked out after only six days of treatment.
Sources told the website that Brooke was only interested in detoxing during her stint in rehab. Now that she feels things are under control, Mueller has decided to leave the facility. However, she will reportedly have to undergo psychological outpatient treatment.
According to The Hollywood Gossip , Brooke Mueller has also regained custody of her children. The twins were allegedly in the care of her mother during her stint in rehab. Now that she’s returning home, Brooke is bringing her children with her.
Attorney Yale Galanter issued the following statement following Mueller’s hospitalization:
“Brooke was uncomfortable with the way Adderall was making her behave. Brooke continues her lifelong battle with drug addiction by taking these steps herself to prevent a further drug relapse.”
Reports are a little foggy regarding what prompted Mueller’s decision to seek treatment. Some news outlets reported she “fell off the wagon” and overdosed on the prescription drug. Representative Steve Honig was quick to downplay rumors.
“She was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration and is now fine and resting at home. That’s it,” he said.
Despite rumors of Mueller’s overdose, reports indicate that no drugs were found in her system at the time of her hospitalization.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Brooke Mueller has been in rehab at least 19 times over the past several years. Earlier this year, Brooke spent 90 days in a drug treatment program after she was busted in Colorado for using cocaine.
