Janice Dickinson Engaged: Former Supermodel To Wed For The Fourth Time
Here’s to hoping the fourth time’s a charm for former model Janice Dickinson.
According to The Daily Mail, the self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel” recently got engaged to Dr. Robert Gerner, a Los Angeles-based psychologist.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, just three months ago, Dickinson was photographed indulging in a steamy public make out session with adult film star James Deen, prompting rumors that her relationship with Gerner was over.
On Thursday (December 13) however, Dickinson, 57, posed for several pictures alongside her husband-to-be and proudly showed off a large diamond ring on her left hand.
“You just know you know it’s the right person,” Dickinson said of 67-year-old Gerner. “He’s the ying to my yang.”
Sources say the two will tie the knot in April of 2013.
Janice has yet to confirm news of her engagement via Twitter. In her last update, dated September 23, she shared a photo of herself and her beau dining at Hollywood hotspot Madeo together with Jimmy Fallon.
Janice wrote:
“At Madeo’s with @jimmyfallon my boyfriend Rocky, Phallon Riley, and Rob.”
Dickinson, a former America’s Next Top Model judge, has been married three other times and has two children: son, Nathan, 25, and daughter Savannah, 18.
She first tied the knot with Ron Levy, then was married to Simon Fields for six years before splitting in 1993. In 1995, Janice wed Albert B. Gersten but the two decided to call it quits just a year later.
Besides modeling Janice has also authored a number of books. In 2002, she released No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel, a memoir detailing her “wild days” as a supermodel. Dickinson followed that publishing up another memoir on modeling in 2004 and a third on dating in 2006.
