Instagram Photo Of Pawel Poljanski’s Legs After Cycling 1,757 Miles In The Tour De France Gets 30,000 Likes
There is a photo floating around social media of a pair of legs that has gained more than 30,000 likes. As seen below, the photo on the Instagram account of Pawel Poljanski of Poland shows a pair of very vascular legs, swollen with blood, knees burned by the sun. Enjoying Rhône-Alpes, France, as the location, the Instagram photo’s description notes that Poljanski’s legs look a “little tired” after cycling sixteen stages, which equates to about 1,757 miles. The Tour De France was the culprit, or Le Tour de France 2017, to be more precise.
Pawel and Bora-Hansgrohe can be seen in the above photo, competing during stage one of Le Tour de France 2017, which represents a 14-kilometer individual time trial. Those 14 kilometers equaled approximately 8.7 miles during that individual time trial that took place on July 1 in Duesseldorf, Germany. But it is the following photo of Pawel’s legs that is getting all the attention and has caused more than 3,100 comments to flow to the Instagram post, with people leaving their thoughts online about the photo. Certain people are asking why Pawel’s feet look so dark, with others explaining that Pawel’s feet are likely bruised. Others are telling Pawel he should be proud of all of his hard work.
Others are advising Pawel to see a doctor while others tell him to get some rest.
As reported by the Mirror, Pawel isn’t the only cyclist to show off his legs on social media. New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson has shown off his legs in such a manner before, as well, as seen below.

The thought of cycling so many miles is truly shocking to those unfamiliar with the Tour de France, with 2017’s race enjoying a total distance of 3,540 kilometers, which is 2,220 miles, according to Telegraph.co.uk.
Therefore, with social media being able to express certain things that words can’t via one shocking photo, expect plenty more shocking photos of hard-working legs to come during future Tour de France events. And expect more shocking comments from folks who don’t know what to expect after a pair of legs cycles for such a long period of time.
