‘The Originals’ Season 5 Spoilers: Who Is Margot? ‘Calculating’ Vampire Has Zealous Devotion To Her Family

The Originals Season 5 is going to have another huge time jump. During the season finale, the Mikaelson siblings were forced to separate to defeat the Hollow. As for Hope (Summer Fontana), she is going to a supernatural school in Mystic Falls. There is not much information about the next season, but some casting details were revealed. Expect to see a new character that has a lot in common with the Mikaelson family.

When The Originals returns with Season 5, many of the characters will not age despite a huge time jump. That is because many of them are vampires. As for Hope Mikaelson, it was previously revealed that the role will be recast with a teenager. According to TV Line, expect to see a few new characters in The Vampire Diaries spinoff.

Fans will meet a woman named Margot in The Originals. She will move to New Orleans and her history goes all the way back to 1920s Europe. She is described as a “calculating” vampire. However, that isn’t the only thing that was teased. It turns out she has something in common with the Mikaelsons: an “almost zealous” devotion to her family.

As fans know, the Mikaelson family did whatever was necessary to stay together. Family means everything to them, especially Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Unfortunately, that all changed in the Season 4 finale, titled “Feast Of All Sinners.” In order to save Hope, Klaus and his siblings had to separate forever. If they don’t stick to that agreement, then the Hollow might be able to piece herself back together. If that happens, it is almost guaranteed that the villain will come back with a vengeance.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there was another casting notice for Season 5. A newly turned vampire named Roman will become a love interest for Hope. It was teased that the two will share a similar connection, which results in them forming a bond. However, how will Daddy Klaus feel about his little girl dating someone, especially a vampire? Fans will just have to wait and see what happens when the series returns to The CW network.
