‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Alison Sweeney On Sami Brady’s Return, Teases Firecracker And Exploding Scenes

Days Of Our Lives spoilers revealed some time ago that Alison Sweeney would return to reprise the role of Sami Brady. Although the actress will not be seen on television screens until this fall, she has already completed filming. In a new interview, Sweeney discussed her many projects and what is going on in her life. She also happened to mention DOOL. Alison teased that her character is a “firecracker” and that scenes tend to explode when she is around.

According to Michael Fairman On-Air On-Soaps, Sweeney was featured on AOL Build. She confirmed that her episodes will air this October. Although it seemed like her filming was short, Alison believes that Sami Brady will be in Salem for a few months. When asked about Days Of Our Lives spoilers, the actress said the big ones have already been teased. One of those has to do with Will Horton (Chandler Massey). As viewers recall, Will was murdered by Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). So, it will be interesting how they explain his sudden resurrection.

As previously reported by the Inquistr, Dr. Rolf (William Utay) is returning. He worked with Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascola). At one point, Stefano asked how he could be alive when he died a few years before. The doctor would only say that the death “didn’t take.” This is having fans speculate that Dr. Rolf could bring dead characters back to life, one of which could be Sami’s son.

As for what else to expect from Sami on Days Of Our Lives, Sweeney described her character as a “firecracker.” She also teased that scenes have a habit of exploding around her.

“What I love most about Sami is that she is a firecracker. She comes into a scene and it sort of explodes around her. Sometimes on purpose and sometimes she didn’t mean it. So, there’s something very fun about bringing that character back to life. Definitely, she throws down in Salem and makes some trouble wherever she goes.”

Sami will definitely be getting into some trouble in Salem. New head writer Ron Carlivati revealed on Twitter that she gets arrested three times in two weeks. Sami will also have at least one scene with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), according to Soap Opera Digest. It appears that Sami and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) might also have a storyline together. The official Twitter account for the soap opera posted a short video clip of the two women. It was teased that the ladies made a great episode that day.

Even though Alison was on Days Of Our Lives for over 20 years, she was nervous about returning.

“It was so, so fun. It was also oddly nerve-wracking [but] it turned out okay. I was petrified the first day I returned to work. I was worried I wouldn’t remember my lines. I was worried I wouldn’t remember how to be Sami… I had all of these crazy fears, and then I got there and it was like being home again, and it was wonderful. It was so great. I was happy to be there.”

Alison Sweeney is not the only one who is excited. Fans are literally counting down the days until Sami Brady returns to Days Of Our Lives. Based on what the actress teased, it is going to be a memorable storyline.
