Gwen Stefani Reportedly Sued After Cozying Up To Boyfriend Blake

Gwen Stefani may be showing off her happy love life with boyfriend Blake Shelton across her social media accounts, but one of her fans is definitely not happy with the singer and former The Voice coach right now.

Stefani is reportedly facing a lawsuit from a fan who attended one of the stops on her “This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour” last year. The fan claims that the singer allegedly caused a stampede at her concert that left her with a broken leg.

Lisa Keri Sticklin filed a federal complaint against Gwen last week and, per Court House News , she is claiming that the star supposedly caused a crowd rush during the July show that caused her to suffer a broken tibia after she became “trapped in the crush.”

The incident allegedly went down at The Voice coach’s gig at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 23, 2016. The lawsuit claims that Stefani encouraged fans who were sitting in the lawn area of the venue to rush forward into the front area which was made up of reserved seating.

Allegedly, Stefani shouted to the crowd from the stage to “Just fill in anywhere you like! Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones,” which caused concert goers to rush forward.

Accusing both Gwen and Live Nation – who is also named in the lawsuit – of negligence, Sticklin added that the mom of three then allegedly told the crowd during the show that she “got in so much trouble for telling you guys to come up here.”

According to the site, Sticklin was sitting in the seated section and claimed that Gwen’s call to her fans caused them to jump barricades and ropes to get into the seated area as quickly as possible, which was when she says she was injured.

While the allegations are still yet to be proven in court, it was reported last year that the star’s 2016 tour didn’t exactly sell out .

Just days before the shows kicked off in July 2016, reports alleged that thousands of seats were still available for the star’s 28 North American shows, which could suggest that there was plenty of room for fans to rush forward to get closer to the stage.

But despite the as yet unproven allegations made by the fan in the recently filed lawsuit, Stefani and her team have not yet commented on the claims.

Rolling Stone reported that the singer’s reps “did not immediately reply to requests for comment” when asked, and a representative of Live Nation told the outlet that they “[do] not comment on pending or ongoing litigation.”

The lawsuit news comes just days after Gwen showed fans that she may just be the happiest she’s ever been after cozying up to her boyfriend, Blake, in a sweet new photo she shared on social media.

Stefani shared an adorable photo with her fans on July 8 that showed her and the country star playing games with her youngest son, Apollo.

Gwen sweetly captioned the photo “#summer2017” and added of her boys, “love u guys.”

Just days earlier, she showed her support for her boyfriend of almost two years by posting a selfie from one of his shows after reportedly dropping a whole lot of cash on Shelton’s 41st birthday.
