Did Michelle Williams and Chad Johnson just confirm their relationship on Instagram?
Rumors suggesting that Michelle and Chad are officially a couple has reached its peak after the two went on a flirty Instagram exchange that has fans of the Destiny’s Child member cheering.
According to a report from BET, the 36-year-old singer may have just confirmed that she is dating Pittsburgh Steelers pastor Chad Johnson following posts from the two on Instagram.
Initiating the exchange, the former chaplain for the Arizona Cardinals posted a photo of them on a boat. At the time, the two appear to be celebrating his 40th birthday.
“She is special!!! And in her words…… ‘I’m all the way here for it!'” he captioned the image.
To top that off, the rumored couple posted comments on the photo composed of heart, heart-eyes, and praying hands emojis that seem to indicate their love for each other.
In response, Michelle Williams also shared her own image on the social media platform where she appears to be posing beside a man’s shadow. Fans were even more convinced that she and the Pittsburg Steelers chaplain are already dating because of the caption she posted with it.
“Unexpected, Unannounced, Unbelievable. #HIM,” she wrote.
The 40-year-old pastor posted a similar photo earlier on, this time with him posing beside her shadow.

After seeing the post, fans of the Destiny’s Child member went on a field day on Instagram. In fact, the matter became even more viral after a screenshot of the exchange was posted by The Shade Room.
Interestingly, the screenshot also shows a comment from LeToya Luckett, Michelle’s 36-year-old Destiny’s Child co-member, that added fuel to the fire. In her cryptic comment, LeToya appears to confirm the couple’s relationship.
“And there it is. *drops mic* God bless y’all,” she wrote.
According to the Hollywood Life, both Michelle Williams and Chad Johnson are keeping their romantic lives as private as possible. Despite that, the singer was not able to contain her disappointment at one of her exes whom she caught cheating.
“Actually I found out that someone I was dating for a number of years flew a young lady out while he was out on tour because she was dumb enough to put it on her Twitter,” she said in The Real earlier this year.
She did not reveal which ex she was referring to at the time but she admitted that she “felt good” about talking about it in public.
Meanwhile, Chad Johnson has not really reached the celebrity status until now so his love life has not reached public knowledge. Of course, Michelle’s Chad should not be confused with others who have similar names, especially The Bachelorette’s Chad Johnson.
