Catelynn Baltierra Focuses On New Clothing Line After Spending The Fourth Of July With Her Daughter
Catelynn Baltierra and her husband, Tyler, are preparing to launch their new clothing line, Tierra Reign, on Tuesday after spending the Fourth of July holiday with their daughter, Novalee Reign.
According to a post on Instagram on July 9, the Teen Mom OG couple’s project will become available to fans on July 11, just one day after the conclusion of the sixth season of Teen Mom OG.
“Tierra Reign launches THIS TUESDAY 7/11 at 12 p.m.,” Catelynn Baltierra wrote in the caption of a video posted on Instagram, which included images of several items.
Catelynn Baltierra and her husband announced their clothing line months ago and a short time later, they faced backlash from fans who didn’t feel that the items available were appropriate for children. As The Hollywood Gossip revealed last month, fans on Instagram became upset with the Teen Mom OG couple after a photo was shared of a young girl wearing a lace shirt and choker. According to the fans, the item wasn’t age appropriate and shouldn’t be promoted.
Some even claimed the shirt “sexualized” children and ultimately, the image was removed from Instagram.
After removing the image from social media, Catelynn Baltierra’s husband responded to the backlash and explained that the model he used in the ad was nearly two sizes too small for the shirt, which may have been a leading factor in the controversy. Tyler also posted a photo of his own daughter wearing the shirt and in the second image, the shirt doesn’t seem as low-cut.
According to the report, the model’s shirt fell lower on her because it was clipped back in order to make it appear that it fit. As for the choker, Tyler Baltierra he said that he and his team had brought numerous accessories to the ad shoot and allowed the children to pick out what they wanted to wear.
Tyler went on to explain that he and Catelynn are paying attention to the fans’ feedback and hope the reaction to their items will help their business “grow in the right direction.”
