‘American Horror Story’ Season 7: Official News About Vera Farmiga

American Horror Story Season 7 has had many rumors float around, but there is one about Vera Farmiga that has fans cheering. AHS fans saw the possibility of having two Farmiga sisters (with Taissa) on the same show they know and love was more than exciting, it was surreal. Even though the two Farmiga sisters have a quite a drastic age difference, they could actually pass as mother and daughter on the show.

For those American Horror Story fans who are unaware, Vera Farmiga shot to superstardom playing the fictional version of the real life demonologist, Lorraine Warren, on the hit horror film franchise The Conjuring. Her performance as Lorraine Warren was so powerful that she was quickly recognized as an early contender for a modern Scream Queen back in 2013.

Vera Farmiga is a well-versed actress in horror TV, having starred in Bates Motel for all five seasons of the show’s run on A&E. For her to have joined American Horror Story would have been a real walk in the park for the Farmiga sister who has had a lot of practice in showing off her terrified emotions on the big and small screen. That also includes part two of The Conjuring franchise, which dealt with the Enfield Poltergeist.

But as with many rumors about American Horror Story, the euphoria was never meant to last, according to Entertainment Weekly. Suffice it to say that Vera Farmiga would have filled the role of such AHS leading ladies as Jessica Lange and Lady Gaga, but the stars did not align for her inclusion in Season 7 of American Horror Story.

So more to the point, Vera Farmiga will not be appearing in Season 7 of American Horror Story. Despite all the rumors and the sightings of her on-set for the production of American Horror Story Season 7, which have not been explained why she was there to start with, Farmiga has no role in AHS this upcoming fall season.

Those who have been confirmed as returning stars for Season 7 of American Horror Story include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, and Adina Porter. The newbies for Season 7 of American Horror Story include Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, and Alison Pill.

There has been no word yet as to what the theme for Season 7 of American Horror Story will be, nor when it will premiere this fall on FX.
