‘General Hospital’ Friday, July 7, Spoilers: Wedding Implodes – Plus, Thursday, July 6 Recap
General Hospital spoilers for the cliffhanger episode on Friday, July 7 show the Quartermaine wedding goes off the rails and one scheme between partners in crime falls apart. Sonny (Maurice Benard) took to heart what Carly (Laura Wright) shared about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) being so angry about their renewed relationship. Sonny tries to make things right with an olive branch. Sonny comes to pick up Carly and Joss for the Quartermaine wedding on Friday’s GH and tries to make amends with his step-daughter.
Sonny apologizes to Josslyn – Amy has second thoughts
Sonny tells Josslyn that he’s sorry and he hopes one day she can forgive him. Today is not that day. Josslyn is shedding teen angst all over and winds up in another showdown with her mother over her attitude and continues to act out. Over at Crimson, General Hospital spoilers say Nina (Michelle Stafford) is mothering Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and gives her a makeover before she goes to the Q wedding. Nina tells Nelle that Michael (Chad Duell) will have his mind blown when he sees her looking so gorgeous.
After seeing to Nelle, Nina spends some time with her brother Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Nurse Amy (Risa Dorken). Quartermaine wedding drama – Olivia calls things off
Over at the MetroCourt, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) has a bridezilla meltdown. Olivia rages at Laura (Genie Francis), Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) that the wedding is off and won’t happen today. Cooler heads prevail on Friday’s GH and Monica saves the day according to General Hospital spoilers from Soaps She Knows. The wedding won’t wrap on Friday, so we’ll see Q wedding action spread into next week’s episodes.
Something is awry with Ned (Wally Kurth) as the groom paces and waits for the wedding to start at the MetroCourt. Ned asks the groomsmen Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) and Dillon, along with Lulu (Emme Rylan), for a huge favor. Both bride and groom seem nervous, but the wedding will happen as promised. Other spoilers for Friday, July 7 from Soap Central promise Carly has her hands full with Josslyn’s behavior and gives her daughter a stern warning.

General Hospital Recap – Thursday, July 6 – Sam tormented by Sonny
When General Hospital began on Thursday, Sam stabbed Sonny and smiled. The bachelor party started, Joss and her mom argued, and Stella collapsed. Sam imagined the stabbing but had the scalpel in her hand. Sam told Sonny to stay away from her family and reminded him it’s his fault Jason died. Jason called, and Sam asked him to meet her for dinner. Sam apologized to Sonny and asked him not to tell Jason how she acted.
At the MetroCourt, Sam told Jason she has an iron deficiency. Jason told Sam that Sonny wants out of the business and needs a successor. Sam hallucinated Sonny saying that Jason would take over for him. Ghost Sonny told Sam she should have finished him off when she had the chance. Jason said he’s done with the cartel and Sonny is getting out, too. Ghost Sonny told Sam he’ll never let Jason go.

Drunk Olivia arrested for accosting a firefighter
Carly told Josslyn she can’t move in with Jax. Joss was angry and called Jax to see if Carly was lying. Josslyn railed at her mom over Sonny running her life. At the MetroCourt, Laura and Lulu dragged Olivia off for a bachelorette outing. Dillon handed out cigars, but Ned told him no smoking at his fiancée’s hotel. Dillon tossed his in the trash and started a fire. Carly was called to the MetroCourt for an emergency – the fire that Dillon started.
Olivia was hesitant to party but then proceeds to get hammered. Olivia admitted to Laura she’s terrified and Laura gave her good advice then left her to sleep off her drunk. Olivia drunkenly accosted a firefighter mistaking him for a stripper and was arrested. Ned promised Dante he’d never hurt his mother. Ned thanked him and later, Dillon toasted the marriage and Dante got a call telling him that his mom was locked up. Dante got her out, but Olivia was still staggering drunk.
Jordan walked out on Curtis – Sonny made a call
Carly showed up to see Sonny and told him about Josslyn’s growing anger. Josslyn texted with Oscar about her family drama. Oscar said he was glad Josslyn is staying in Port Charles. Stella had a stroke and went to GH for treatment. Griffin told them it was a mild stroke but not her first one. Stella told Curtis she kept the first stroke secret, so it didn’t worry him. Curtis told Stella that Jordan recognized the signs of a stroke and saved her.
Stella thanked Jordan for saving the day, and Jordan left. Jordan asked Griffin if stress could have triggered Stella’s stroke. Griffin said each stroke makes things worse and he wants to make sure Stella doesn’t have another one. Jordan told Curtis she was leaving, but it was plain to see that she was walking out on him to spare Stella more stress. Sonny made a call and told someone he has a job for them.
