DCFS Turns Over Brooke Mueller’s Home During Investigation
The L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services went on a drug hunting expedition at Brooke Mueller’s home on the night following her return home from an overdose. According to sources, the agency turned over Mueller’s home in the hopes of finding drugs around her children.
Mueller says the agency spent hours searching for illegal substances. Brooke also reveals that the search happened just hours after she returned home from her hospital stay on December 7.
Mueller was admitted to the hospital after she too took much of the ADHD drug Adderall.
The DCFS investigation was said to have taken six hours to complete as investigators looked for any signs of in-home drug use.
The investigation didn’t turn up any drugs, and only a lone cigarette butt was found on the master suite’s bathroom floor of Brooke Mueller’s home.
The agency appeared to be on a witch hunt as it drilled Mueller over her smoking habits inside the home where children were present. Mueller told DCFS officials that she smokes in her bathroom with the window open, ensuring his kids’ safety.
A source tells TMZ that the agency went so far as to wake up Brooke Mueller’s children to ask “Has mommy ever touched you?” and to check for outward signs of physical abuse.
Brooke, since that time, has entered rehab, and her children are staying with Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards.
In the meantime, Brooke Mueller is calling the DCFS meeting “harassing” because of the extent of the investigation.
