‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Risa Dorken’s Amazing Wedding Video And Album

General Hospital spoilers show that Nurse Amy (aka Risa Dorken) got hitched in style. Risa just released her wedding video, and it’s amazing. The bride was gorgeous, the groom was handsome, and the location was rustic and romantic. The GH actress and her husband, Bo Clark, married Saturday, June 24 at the Mansion Inn near Saratoga Springs, New York. Risa’s husband is from rural New York, and his family still lives there, so it was the perfect locale.

Risa and Bo’s romance began on the New York stage

While Bo is a New York boy, Risa is a mid-West girl from Minnesota. The 27-year old actress was born in Apple Valley, Minnesota, and graduated from a performing arts conservatory she attended as high school. Risa’s gorgeous singing voice and sultry looks led her to theater school in New York City, and that’s where she met Bo Clark. The two performed together on the New York stage and moved to LA together in 2014 to pursue acting careers on the coast. Risa landed the role of Amy Driscoll on General Hospital in early 2016 and debuted in May.

At first, it seemed that Risa might have been hired at General Hospital strictly for the Nurses Ball because of her amazing pipes, but since then, Nurse Amy stuck around and enjoyed increased appeal among GH fans. The beauty moved from a recurring extra to a featured player when Risa scored a juicy plot alongside Ryan Paevey when his scene partner Kirsten Storms took a three-month leave of absence from GH. Nathan and Amy have become partners in crime lately. But Risa’s biggest scene was her fabulous DIY wedding late last month.

Risa had been sharing photos for weeks of the hand-crafted items she and Bo were making for their wedding. These were all rustic in style, and once you see their wedding venue in the video below, you can see why she went that route with her crafts. An industrialist built the Mansion Inn and outbuildings in 1866, and the property is virtually unchanged from its roots after more than 150 years.
