First Lady Melania Trump donned a $599 green lamb suede Diane von Furstenberg wrap coat when she landed with President Donald Trump in Poland, as reported by the Inquisitr . Melania also made a bold choice of a dress to wear in Warsaw, Poland, when Melania chose the Spanish designer Delpozo’s midi blue dress to wear. As seen in the attached photos, Melania visited with children at the Copernicus Science Center, on Thursday, July 6. Melania crouched down to the floor at the interactive science museum geared for younger people, a move that showed off the striking print of Melania’s découpage dress. According to the fashion experts at White House Wardrobe , HeavenLM , as well as CNN reporter Kate Bennett , Melania turned to the Spanish designer Delpozo for Melania’s choice of an elegant fit-and-flare dress.
One of the only places the dress is still available for sale is at Bergdorf Goodman . With the bottom of the Delpozo dress showing off a bold design and colorful combination of pink, orange and navy, Melania’s dress is getting a big response on social media. The sleeveless Delpozo decoupage midi dress is priced at $2,650 as of this writing. The top of the Delpozo scuba-knit midi dress appears as a solid blue color, whilst the bottom of the A-line silhouette dress contains a bold abstract design that people on social media are attempting to decipher like a Rorschach test.
The jewel neckline of Melania’s Delpozo sleeveless dress contained a seam at the high waist and a hidden back zipper, with the viscose dress that was made in Spain standing in contrast to the solid colored dress worn by Poland’s First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Dudain, seen in the center left of the above photo.
On plenty of other websites, such as Moda Operandi, the Delpozo dress, which required a $1,325 deposit for the $2,650 dress, is sold out. With a main color of “insignia blue,” the dress is available in French sizes, such as a size 34, which equals a size 2 in the U.S. The style of Melania’s dress is described as fitting true to French sizing.
According to the Neiman Marcus website , the Delpozo scuba-knit midi dress represents a dreamy and romantic demi-couture from the designing house of Delpozo that was founded in 1974. Delpozo is known for a fairytale style and striking, fearless color combos. Scuba knit, meanwhile, is described as a lofty double knit fine fabric that creates a smooth and low luster sheen for its wearers.
“When you are wearing Delpozo, you feel like you are truly living a fashion fantasy—grounded in traditional couture techniques.”
