Gwen Stefani Reportedly Spent $50,000 On Blake Shelton’s Birthday
Gwen Stefani is allegedly splashing some serious cash when it comes to boyfriend Blake Shelton’s 41st birthday.
According to reports, as Blake gears up to celebrate the big day on June 18, Stefani has been shopping like crazy to make sure her boyfriend of just over a year and a half celebrates turning another year older in style.
A source revealed this week that Stefani is seriously spoiling her fellow The Voice coach this year and has allegedly already dropped a whopping $50,000 on birthday presents for the country star, which includes a historical pocket watch that allegedly set the singer back $30,000.
“She wanted to get him something really meaningful that she could get engraved,” the insider told Hollywood Life of the sentimental gift Gwen has reportedly dropped thousands on for her man, claiming that the watch she’s chosen for Shelton is around 200 years old.
“Gwen thinks it’s worth it. It’s a collector’s item and so unique,” the insider continued of the gift while revealing that Shelton is a big fan of American history and loves antiques.
Stefani hasn’t confirmed reports she’s spend thousands of dollars on gifts for Shelton’s birthday, but if the latest claims are to be believed there’s no doubting that the star can definitely afford to hand over the five-figure sum to spoil her man.
Cheat Sheet claimed in May that Gwen has allegedly made around $13 million just from appearing on The Voice ever since she joined the show in 2011 while Blake too has made millions from appearing on all 12 seasons of the popular NBC show.
But while Gwen hasn’t publicly confirmed the gifts she’ll be wrapping up for her boyfriend ahead of his birthday, Blake did reveal earlier this month that the “Used To Love You” singer loves to go all out when it comes to celebrating birthdays and always makes big plans to celebrate with her loved ones.
Speaking to E! News last week, Blake confirmed that Gwen already has something big planned for him as he turns 41 this weekend and noted that his girlfriend “is real big on if there’s something going on in your life she wants to make it special.”
“I think they’re going to have some kind of a party,” he continued of what Stefani and her three kids have planned for his birthday celebrations, joking that there’s a chance Gwen may even take things one step further and could even be ready to pop out of a cake to surprise him.
“I hope! Oh my God,” Shelton joked when asked if Stefani could find herself serving as the filling in a giant cake. “I hope so.”
