Man, 85, Says Four-Year-Old Girl Handled His Genitals For Four Minutes ‘Out Of Curiosity’

An 85-year-old Idaho man has been arrested for lewd contact with a 4-year-old girl after her mother walked in and saw the girl handling his genitals. The man claims that the act was not done for pleasure, but he didn’t stop the girl because he thought she was simply curious.

According to Daily News, Charles Cecil Carroll was charged with the felony in April, at which time he gave an interview stating that he derived no pleasure from her fondling his genitals. Instead, he said, he was walking around in a bathrobe without underwear, and when he sat down to smoke a cigarette, his robe came open, exposing his genitalia. The little girl was in the room, and he says she came over and began to fondle his genitals on her own accord.

“Her mother lived in the same apartment complex I did, and I used to see them regularly. She used to come over when she was pregnant. When the baby was born, I went to the hospital to visit, and I held that little girl when she was less than an hour old. I loved her as if she were my own. “

On the date of the incident, Carroll said the child and her mother were visiting for the day.

“My robe had become partially open and I didn’t correct. She walked over and out of curiosity, I’d say, started handling my genitals.”

He alleges that the child continued to handle his genitals for three or four minutes, and he did not stop her. Her mother then came in the room at that point, saw what was happening, and rushed out of his home with her daughter. Later that day, she filed a formal complaint with the police. He was booked into the local jail on a $50,000 bond. He still states that he was not fondled for pleasure but out of curiosity. At his first court hearing, a judge ordered three years of probation and a no contact order that barred him from seeing the woman or child.

However, two months after his release, he violated that order. The man claims he had taken out a loan to buy a car for the woman, and she had missed two payments. He drove to her house to confront her, and as soon as she saw him, she called the police. He was then sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

He continues to deny there was any sexual pleasure derived from the act.
