Charlize Theron was caught on camera getting cozy with her new boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, who previously dated Halle Berry.

A new summer romance

Charlize and Gabriel first ignited rumors of a romance when they were spotted together at the Santa Monica Pier in late May.

The Daily Mail reported that Theron and Aubry have already gotten pretty serious, but they are trying to keep their relationship under wraps for the time being. The couple met at their children’s school in Los Angeles.

“Charlize and Gabriel are really into each other. It’s still early days, so they want to keep things discreet, but they have a genuine connection and obviously huge attraction!”

The actress and the male model have reportedly been bonding at parenting events and playdates.

“They’ve had dinner together a few times and talk often when they’re not together. Gabriel’s trying to play it cool — but Charlize is smitten!”

Staying away from the spotlight

An insider told reporters that the couple is at a place where they are craving “serenity and friendship over drama and unpredictability.

Charlize and Gabriel have been enjoying each others company while keeping up with their children’s “routines and milestones” and steering “clear of any Hollywood hubbub.”

“The more they get to know each other the more they realize they have so much in common.”

Gabriel Aubry has a 9-year-old daughter, Nahla, with Berry. The model was with Halle Berry, 50, for years before going through a bad breakup in 2010.

Charlize Theron seemed to be on the road to marriage with longtime pal Sean Penn, but the two unexpectedly broke up in 2015 after only dating for a year.

Charlize recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel to promote her new film, Atomic Bomb, which hits theaters in July.
