Jenelle Evans Admits That She Did Drugs Several Times A Day: Why It’s Good She’s Speaking Out
Jenelle Evans is gearing up for the release of her first book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom. Jenelle is far from the first Teen Mom star to release a book, but she does join a group of ladies who have done tremendously well with their books. Unlike some of the other books, Evans’ book will discuss some of the biggest rumors surrounding this Teen Mom star, including her addiction to drugs. Jenelle was once addicted to drugs, but she kept denying it while filming the show. Also, she kept denying it on social media. Now, Jenelle is coming clean, revealing why she decided to shoot up continuously.
According to a new Hello Giggles report, Jenelle Evans is now opening up about her drug use that she was accused of doing a few years ago. At the time, Evans kept arguing that she wasn’t doing drugs and she was upset that people would spread such lies. Even though the cameras from the Teen Mom 2 crew had caught her doing drugs, Evans kept denying that she was shooting up. However, in her book, Jenelle reveals that she was indeed doing drugs and it was helping her numb the pain in regards to her son, Jace.
As it turns out, it was the custody battle in regards to Jace that was hurting her too much. Her mother, Barbara, was refusing to give back custody of her son and it was painful for her to keep going. Unlike many people, Evans is brave for opening up about this custody battle and her drug issues, as many people are going through the same thing. Jenelle should be proud of herself for being so candid about her mistakes.
As it turns out, it was the custody battle in regards to Jace that was hurting her too much. Her mother, Barbara, was refusing to give back custody of her son and it was painful for her to keep going.
“It hurt my heart, made me sick to my soul that I couldn’t see my son. I filled that hateful void with more drugs. The drugs always made the pain go away. They didn’t turn on me or betray me. I guess heroin was my first steady, dependable lover. It gave me what I needed to live and I gave it my life. By this entry, heroin was the only thing I had in my life that loved me,” Jenelle Evans writes in her new book, according to Hello Giggles.
These days, Jenelle Evans is determined to stay sober. She has a reason for living now, as she’s one step closer to building a strong relationship with Jace. Also, she has Kaiser with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith, and she has a daughter with current partner, David Eason. Evans would love to have all three children together under one roof, but it sounds like she will have to wait. It is possible that her mother used her addiction to heroin against her in court to keep Jace in her care. It was something Evans’ lawyer warned her about.
It’s amazing that she’s choosing to speak out about this heroin addiction since she has been lying about it for a long time. This Teen Mom 2 star has really tried to protect herself from public scrutiny, but since she’s on a show that is about being a role model, it’s admirable that she’s choosing to open about something so sensitive. For this alone, she should be admired and supported. By being open and honest about her mistakes, a judge may consider giving her full custody down the road.
Jenelle is also a role model to her little daughter Ensley, and one can imagine that she will do just about anything to ensure that her daughter doesn’t have to deal with a custody issue, drugs, or abandonment.
