After Being Blocked By The President On Twitter, Stephen King Finds Ally In J.K. Rowling
It is no secret that President Donald Trump is an avid Twitter user and he’s not afraid to block anyone who ridicules him or doesn’t agree with him, and that includes author Stephen King. For a long time, King made it no secret that he was mocking and making fun of many of the things that Trump tweeted out for the world to see. On Tuesday morning, King woke up to find out he was blocked from seeing any more of the president’s tweets, but it was J.K. Rowling who came to his rescue.
Stephen King has truly enjoyed reading Donald Trump’s tweets over the course of the last year or so, and he has enjoyed mocking him even more. King has responded to Trump’s tweets and received a lot of attention from fans and even supporters of the current president, but that all ended early on Tuesday.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, King woke up to learn that he could no longer see anything tweeted out by Donald Trump. The president of the United States officially blocked the famous author from reading his tweets or having interaction with him.
Trump has blocked me from reading his tweets. I may have to kill myself.

Believe it or not, he honestly wasn’t sure if it was legit. King tweeted out to his more than 3.1 million followers asking if others had experienced the same issue.
Have others received a notification of being blocked from Trump’s tweets, or is it a hoax? It’s not as if his tweets are hard to find!

Stephen King isn’t the only person that Donald Trump has blocked lately. The Independent reported that the president recently blocked more than 500,000 military veterans on Twitter because he didn’t want to be silenced or spoken to by them.
Despite being blocked by Trump, King has had an ally step up for him.
Wondering what he could possibly do without seeing the tweets of the president, author J.K. Rowling wanted to let Stephen King know that she would step up to bat for him. The author and creator of the Harry Potter franchise was not going to let her peer go without the material he enjoys so much, as reported by the Huffington Post.
I still have access. I’ll DM them to you. https://t.co/MhibEYDBTg

With that being said, it may be only a matter of time until the president finds it necessary to block Rowling from accessing his account on Twitter as well. That may not matter much as she has more than 10 million followers and could likely find someone to keep her updated on all that is happening on the most powerful Twitter account in the world.
As the evening rolled around, despite the kind gesture offered earlier by J.K. Rowling, Stephen King still could not believe he was in Twitter purgatory.
Blocked! Condemned to an existential wasteland of Trumplessness!

Stephen King has become only one of the latest victims of President Donald Trump’s blocking spree on Twitter, but he certainly won’t be the last. Sure, the horror author may not have direct access to the tweets of the president anymore, but peers and friends such as J.K. Rowling are always there to lend a helping hand or informative DM.
