‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Eric Warns ‘Y&R’ Lauren About Sheila

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers ask whether Eric Forrester (John McCook) will raise the alarm bells now that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is in LA and possibly taking pot shots at his wife Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer). Given Eric’s close ties to The Young and the Restless characters, it’s safe to assume that if this were real life, Eric would reach out and warn others that might be affected by Sheila’s timely resurrection.

Who is Sheila Carter anyway?

Some The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless fans knew right off who Sheila was and what her return could mean, but some fans newer to the CBS soaps were left scratching their heads and wondering about all the fuss. It’s Sheila that was the “fan favorite” promised for hot summer action on B&B – and possibly also on Y&R if the villainess heads to Genoa City as well. Sheila is scary and crazy, so insane, in fact, that she makes Quinn look like a Girl Scout.

Sheila Carter was first introduced on The Young and the Restless in 1990 and migrated to Bold in 1992 and bounced back and forth making trouble. When Sheila supposedly died, it was Michelle Stafford (then Phyllis Summers, Y&R) in the role because Sheila had gotten herself plastic surgery to look like Phyllis. Why? Sheila’s arch-nemesis was Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and looking like her BFF let her get dangerously close to the woman she wanted to kill – and tried to murder many times.

Will Eric Warn Lauren?

When Sheila came to The Bold and the Beautiful years ago, she worked as a nanny for Eric, and the two fell in love. That was complicated because Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was pregnant with Eric’s daughter Bridget. Lauren found out Sheila was in LA and came to call her out. Eric and Sheila married, and Sheila made peace with Brooke, but Lauren wouldn’t stop until she exposed Sheila’s horrible past. Sheila went off the rails, killed her shrink, kidnapped people, and tried suicide via poison.

Sheila wound up in the nuthouse on The Bold and the Beautiful but got out, shot Stephanie, and used her daughter to get revenge on the Forresters. Sheila killed Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) and then ran off. That sent her back to Genoa City on The Young and the Restless trying again to kill Lauren. On Y&R, Lauren shot and killed Sheila, who is now back from the dead. With Sheila’s hatred for Lauren and their history of violence, it seems like Eric should pick up the phone ASAP and warn Lauren.

On today’s Bold, Eric called the cops to come pick up Sheila, so no doubt they’ll run a GSR (gun shot residue) test on her like they did on Katie. If Sheila has clean hands (literally), that throws things off and we need to look for another shooter. Perhaps it’s Deacon or Sheila has another accomplice.

What Does Sheila Want in LA?

There are some intriguing The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers from a new interview with Sheila actress Kimberlin Brown posted on TV Insider. Kimberlin shared some B&B scoop on scary Sheila’s return.

When the web mag asked Brown about Sheila getting away with murder, the actress responded, “She’s actually done her time in prison and is trying really hard to rehabilitate herself and become a good person.”

Sheila’s goals to change her life seem to throw some doubt on the current The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers that Sheila is the one shooting at Quinn. Although when Quinn found Sheila at Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) house, Sheila cracked that she might get “another shot” at Quinn later. If Sheila is truly rehabilitated, perhaps it is Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) with the rifle and Sheila’s arrival in LA is purely happenstance. But why would CBS Daytime bother bringing back this big villain and then have her play nice?

B&B spoilers from the TV Insider interview have Kimberlin Brown saying of Sheila, “She is legitimately struggling with her past behavior. You’re going to see her try to be the person—the good person—she really wants to be. And part of her rehabilitation is making amends to the people she’s hurt. That’s a big part of the story.”

That doesn’t sound like someone using Quinn for target practice, does it? More information is needed from The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers to figure out the whodunit mystery. A new promo shows more shots are fired soon as Quinn belly crawls in terror off the balcony and cops swarm the Forrester mansion. Eric is in a panic, so it will be interesting to see if Sheila is the trigger woman or if she’s a red herring who’s in the wrong city at the wrong time.

Genoa City Crossover Coming?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers know Eric needs to pick up the phone and call Lauren to warn her about Sheila and some are speculating that the character will cross over to The Young and the Restless as well. In fact, Sheila at Y&R makes more sense than her at B&B, particularly since Lauren’s son Scott Grainger (Daniel Hall) is in Genoa City. That’s another piece of history newer fans or those that don’t watch The Young and the Restless might not know.

While on The Young and the Restless, Sheila was obsessed with Dr. Scott Grainger, Lauren’s husband. The Scott we see now on Y&R is Lauren’s son with the doc. When Scott Jr. was a baby, Sheila stole him after losing a baby she was carrying (that was also Dr. Scott’s kid) and the result was Sheila presumed dead in a fire and Lauren got Scott Jr. back. With Scott all grown up and back in Genoa City, that seems a natural temptation for Sheila. We’ll see what happens, but a return to Y&R would be great.

There’s lots more to come for Sheila Carter as CBS Daytime has promised it’s a “Summer of Sheila” so we’ll keep an eye out for more The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
